Full of charm and attention to detail, this wonderful cottage is situated on Aberdesach beach, within a few minutes’ walk of the shoreline.. 1 step to entrance.

Please note: The sea is 200 yards away.. Bursting with character, this homely cottage is just 2 minutes’ walk from Aberdesach’s pebble beach. This charming area is famed for its very special sunsets, with mountains and miles of coastline to explore. With two bedrooms sleeping four guests, this is an ideal place for couples or a small family to enjoy the area.
There is a grocery store in the village of Penygroes just 4 miles down the road; for more amenities, a car is a must. Here you really are in the heart of all that the Llyn Peninsula has to offer, with lakes, coastal paths, fishing, bike trails, Snowdonia National Park, and popular tourist towns all within easy reach. Llanberis is 25 minutes’ drive away, where you will find the most popular path up to the summit of Mount Snowdon, and for a more leisurely way up use the Llanberis railway; be sure to book your tickets to avoid disappointment.
Llyn Padarn, also in Llanberis, offers the opportunity to hire kayaks and paddle boards. There are many beaches to explore in the area - you will be spoilt for choice! Just down the road, you will find popular Dinas Dinlle beach with wonderful views across the bay to Anglesey. Caernarfon Castle is only a short drive away, an imposing unesco World Heritage Site, and a great place to spend the day; why not grab a bite to eat in one of the many cafés, restaurants, or friendly pubs? You are also within easy reach of bustling Pwllheli, Morfa Nefyn, Criccieth and Porthmadog, home to the Welsh Highland Railway. There is also Glasfryn Park where you can enjoy many activities such as go-karting, archery, crazy golf and many water sports to name a few. Please note that whilst this property does not accept dogs, the owner’s dog will be walking past the shared courtyard-style garden area. Beach 1 mile.

We had a wonderful time at the Yard Cottage, the main aim was just to have a few days by the sea and enjoy the fresh air and nature. The location of the cottage allowed this and the walks along the beach were a daily source of enjoyment and pleasure.If you’re looking for a few days way from it all, I’d recommend this cottage. The hostess Kirsty was really very hospitable and made us feel more than welcome. We’re already talking about returning!

This is the perfect cosy cottage set in a beautiful location close to the beach. Kirsty couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful and made us feel very at home from the moment we arrived. The cottage is a perfect base to explore all the main attractions of North Wales and is the most beautiful setting to return back to at the end of the day, we were very lucky to enjoy some incredible sunsets. We couldn’t recommend highly enough, Yard Beach cottages has everything you could need while creating the perfect comfy cosy traditional Welsh cottage feel.

What a lovely, cosy cottage. Beautifully situated on a most gorgeous coastline, right next to a sandy (at low tide) beach. Kirsty makes you feel very welcomed, and has lots of great recommendations to keep you busy. Will visit again.
