Accessed by a rough track this renovated farm building is set in a lovely tranquil spot surrounded by fabulous Welsh countryside. Inside there’s a fantastic open plan kitchen, dining and living area, a top quality comfy entertaining space. There’s even a cosy wood burner to light after a day out exploring this splendid region. Each of the bedrooms have plush mattresses and bedding to match, you’re guaranteed a peaceful night’s sleep. Outside is a private hot tub to relax and admire the views from, and maybe spot your woolly neighbours, the local farm sheep in the neighbouring fields! You’re really in the heart of all north Wales with everything it has to offer, with lakes, coastal paths, Snowdonia and popular tourist towns all really close by.
There’s beaches just a couple of miles away, Dinas Dinlle beach has wonderful views across the bay to the Lleyn Peninsula and Anglesey. Caernarfon Castle an imposing unesco World Heritage site is under 9 miles distance, where Prince Charles had his investiture, travel just a little further over to Pwllheli or Criccieth for more fabulous beaches, and Porthmadog is home to the Welsh Highland Railway and some lovely independent shops. No matter what the time of year there’s plenty to do to keep everyone occupied. This property is on the same site as Eithinog Ganol ref UK10314 which sleeps a further 8 guests. Beach 2 miles. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 1¾ miles.

Second stay at the Eithinog Stabal and have previously stayed at the main house in this location too, Eithinog Ganol. So in total have stayed at this location for more than nine weeks over 40 years. This visit was marked by the fourth generation of my family to stay here. The Stabal was new when we first stayed in 2021, it is wearing well and did not disappoint.Be prepared for the farm track approach - I love this but it may not appeal to everyone especially those with more sporty cars - take your time and you'll be fine (I learnt to drive on this section of farm track as a child).The location is good for both the mountains and the coast. History is easily accessible in local castles. I also can not recommend enough a visit toNant Gwrtheyrn. Lots of nice places to eat with a short drive. New to us on this visit was Ty’n Llan Llandwrog a community pub with high quality local produce restaurant.

We had a lovely stay. The property was exactly as described, clean and really spacious and well equipped. Beds were really comfortable (much better than normal holiday rentals!) and the woodburner was cosy, as was the comfy sofa. Contact with owners was straightforward and access info provided was easy to follow. The photos don't do the setting justice, it's absolutely stunning! The views from the hot tub were beautiful, the sea on one side and mountains on the other, a perfect place to relax after days out exploring the local area. We enjoyed watching the lambs playing in the fields as well. The track to get to the property was a bit bumpy but we just took it really slowly and enjoyed the journey. Beautiful location, beautiful property - wish we hadn't had to leave!
