About this property

Foel Stable Cottage started its life as a stable to the main house. Now it’s been transformed into a cosy and welcoming holiday cottage! Inside is simply decorated in a traditional way. Outside you’ll find pretty gardens with a lovely outlook over Anglesey’s countryside.

The living space is open plan. The kitchen has an electric oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave. There’s a washing machine located in boiler room off the entrance hall. The farmhouse dining table in this space seats up to six. The sitting area has a comfy sofa and chairs and a flat screen TV. French windows provide access to the garden.

There are two bedrooms - one double bedroom accessed by a short flight of stone stairs. The twin bedroom is large and can sleep up to three as there is an extra Z bed which you are free to use. A duvet, pillows and bed linen are provided.

The main bathroom is wet room in style with shower, bath with shower attachment, loo and wash hand basin.

Outside the front of the holiday cottage is a picturesque, private garden with views over the lush countryside of Anglesey. There is also ample parking available.

The sitting room and garden both boast views of Anglesey and across to Snowdonia. If you want to relax and don’t want to venture too far from the holiday cottage, you can always sit with a cuppa or glass of wine and soak up the stunning views. Foel Stable Cottage is just a stones throw from the banks of the Menai Strait, so coastal walks are close by. You’re in an ideal location for exploring the myriad things to see and do not just on Anglesey, but Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula too!

You can get a free pass to Foel Farm Parc - here you can see a real working farm and help feed the animals, enjoy a tractor and trailer ride and complete your visit with a trip to the chocolate workshop! Foel Farm is a great holiday cottage on Anglesey where you’re sure to make happy holiday memories of North Wales.

Situated in the south-east of Anglesey and overlooking the Menai Strait is the delightful village of Brynsiencyn. Discover beautiful countryside surrounding the village to the north, with coastal walks and exploration lying southward. Within the village you can enjoy the use of the local shop picking up your essentials, as well as a pub, a café and a takeaway. Head down to Newborough Beach on the edge of beautiful forest for some memorable beach days, visit the Anglesey Sea Zoo to marvel at the marine life, or spend a fun day at Foel Farm Park and help to feed the animals on this picturesque working farm.

Owners took time to make us very welcome and show us around. Wonderful location, with amenities nearby. Will revisit.

The cottage is such good value for money, having full access to the lovely, clean, well kept petting farm. The facilities within the cottage where great, it just missed an ironing board and hairdryer....but not a big issue. The cottage is quite remote, so you do need to drive to everywhere, although there are 2 attractions in walking distance if you want a local day out, plus a lovely walk along the menai strait. The owners are on hand running the farm park if you have any questions and the chocolates from there shop are amazing! There are some lovely pubs and restaurants within 20 minutes serving great food. We would definitely recommend a stay here.
