About this property

Boathouse & Mooring is a family holiday house overlooking the stunning Menai Strait. Worth a mention are the views from the elevated decking area across the Strait to the historic town of Caernarfon in Snowdonia and down towards the open sea. Here the vistas taking in both mountains and the water, so it would be hard to find another holiday house that rivals the incredible location of Boathouse & Mooring.

As you enter the front door, to your left you’ll find the main bathroom on the ground floor. It has a modern bathroom suite including a bath with power shower over, loo and wash hand basin.

Also on the ground floor are the bedrooms! There are two double bedrooms, one twin room and a single room. The double bedroom at the furthest end of the entrance hall has an en-suite wet room with shower, loo and wash basin.

Walk upstairs and you’ll enter into a gorgeous seaside-themed open-plan kitchen and sitting space. The kitchen has an island workstation to give you handy space for food prep. There’s also a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, refrigerated wine cooler, microwave, electric oven and ceramic hob. You'll find all the bits and bobs you need to make cooking on a self-catering holiday easy.

Just off the kitchen is a separate dining room. The views from here are lovely and take in the Menai Strait and down towards Y Felinheli in Snowdonia. There are doors that open onto a balcony, allowing you the sense of eating al fresco when inside if you throw those open! There is also, of course, a dining table with chairs in here, ideal for slightly more formal family breakfasts or suppers.

The sitting area is bright and breezy - just open the doors at the end of this room, which opens onto the decked area, and let the sea air flow through! You get gorgeous views from this room but if you can tear yourself away from them, there are comfy sofas set a TV with DVD player - there’s even a CD player if you fancy a spot of music! The woodburning stove does give this section of the living space a cosier feel, especially on chillier evenings.

Head through the patio doors at the end of the room and step out onto the large decked terrace. The glass panels along the side give it a sense of space and light the sunshine through where a fence wouldn’t - plus it allows you to soak up some truly stunning views! Out here that is also a hot tub, under-floor lighting and a garden set for evening drinks, or a spot of brunch on a lazy sunny morning.

The Boathouse & Moorings is an old and traditional building that has so much character but it also offers modern luxuries that will ensure you have a fantastic family holiday here. If you can tear yourself away from the views, there are fabulous walks, attractions and places to eat in this part of Anglesey. As well as some cracking beaches, too! This holiday house is ideally situated for those wanting both a relaxing and action-packed holiday - you can always have the best of both!

A small village nestled on the banks of the Menai Straits on the Isle of Anglesey. Brynsiencyn is small yet delightful, hosting a shop, Post Office and a shop serving pizzas, kebabs and burgers. The village boasts some incredible views towards the delightful town of Caernarfon over the Menai Straits and even the dominant Snowdonia Mountain Range in the distance. There is plenty to do on the thriving island of Anglesey, the popular attractions of Anglesey Sea Zoo and Foel Farm are just a stones throw away, apart from this there are tonnes of spectacular beaches and history to be discovered. The tourist destinations of Beaumaris, Bangor and Caernarfon are all nearby and are all well worth a visit.
