The small community of Trefor, which overlooks Caernarfon Bay and is surrounded by water and mountains, has a harbour with a stone breakwater pier and a protected sandy beach where the Wales Coastal Path passes. Those who are more daring can surf regularly outside the breakwater. A convenience store, post office, and authorised social club are helpful to the community. The Welsh Language and Heritage Centre and restaurant are nearby in the community of Llithfaen. A superb, two-mile stretch of sandy beach, as well as a decent selection of shops, pubs, and restaurants, can be found in the charming coastal town of Nefyn, which is 7.5 miles away. Families and couples enjoy playing golf at the award-winning club there. The facilities of the well-known towns of Pwllheli, Abersoch, Caernarfon, Portmeirion, and Bangor are readily accessible from Trefor. There are fishing, sailing, and watersports accessible, and the area's coastline is lined with castles and coves. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the whole experience very easy and positive. The cottage has everything you need and there is plenty of room. The views are amazing and it’s so peaceful around the area. The owner was very helpful when we had a small issue with the dryer and made us feel very comfortable throughout. Thanks again and we look forward to next time

The cottage had all requirements for a peaceful holiday away from the bustle of the busy world. The views are stunning of both peaks and the shore, we felt blessed. If you have a dog, please be aware that the garden is not securely fenced, therefore our fella wanted to frolic with the herds of sheep that surround the property and even the garden :). Thank you so much Owen & Lola for a stunning stay. Emma, Sean, Alba & Louis.

The views from the hot tub were amazing especially seeing the stars on a clear night ..no light pollution here! Property itself was spacious and had everything we needed. Large bedrooms all tastefully decorated, yet keeping its traditional charm.Lovely and warm on a cold night, the log burner was a perfect. Highly recommended
