The property offers a pet-safe garden and is considered a perfect retreat for those seeking tranquillity and natural beauty.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage received mixed feedback on cleanliness. Some guests reported it could benefit from a more thorough clean, particularly in the bathroom and kitchen areas. However, no widespread complaints suggest that the issue might be sporadic or dependent on turnover.

The location is highly praised for its direct beach access, quietness, and unspoilt sea views. It's considered perfect for walking and enjoying sunsets, contributing to a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

The comfort of the cottage is generally well-regarded, especially the living room and master bed. However, some guests noted the small size of bedrooms and bathroom, which may not be suitable for plus-size visitors, and the double bedroom can become cold.

Facilities are adequate but some guests mentioned the lack of cleaning products and the need for clearer instructions for the immersion heater. The bathroom may require updating and the small shower size was a concern for some.

While guests have not specifically mentioned gifts, they have noted the lack of basic supplies such as washing up liquid and hand soap. The host is commended for their thoughtfulness in other areas, but without mention of gifts, this category cannot be scored.

The cottage is small but for two persons it is more than adequate. Although the double bedroom can become cold as it is difficult to plug in a heater anywhere, but once the log burner gets going it heats the place nicely. Bathroom was quirky and probably needs a bit of an update but this didn't bother us. We only used about £16 in the electric meter for the whole week and I cooked 6 nights. Would book again.

It is right on the beach, incredible views, and just an absolutely stunning place to be. The cottage itself is a bit of a mix with an incredibly comfortable living room with amazing views over the sea, but then very small bedrooms and bathroom. Just to note for any other plus size visitors, the bathroom was really inaccessible. The toilet is small and hard to sit on and I’ve left my stay with visible bruises and scratches all over my stomach from squeezing in and out of the shower. Even my thin partner who was with me found the shower very small but for anyone plus size it’s painfully inaccessible. The bedrooms similarly have small doorways and are a bit of a squeeze for anyone plus size but the double bed in the master bedroom was incredibly comfortable and we got really good sleep. Also, we should note that there was no washing up liquid, hand soap, and only one toilet roll for a whole week. We bought hand soap and washing up liquid and left them at the property for the next guests so I hope they’ve been left there. Overall we had a great stay but there were definitely some challenges.
