Guests adore the cottage's idyllic location with immediate access to coastal paths, sea views, and tranquil surroundings. The property's old-fashioned charm and modernised bathroom are appreciated, offering a peaceful retreat and a digital detox. The unique character and cosy log burner add to the experience, making it a favoured choice for those seeking to reconnect with nature and enjoy serene sunsets.
Cleanliness has been noted as an area for improvement, with some guests finding the kitchen and items not up to standard. Bedding and towels were clean, but a general clean could enhance the property's appeal.
The location is highly praised for its beauty, with the coast path, beach, and sea views directly accessible. It's described as remote and peaceful, perfect for guests looking to escape the hustle and bustle.
The cottage's comfort is well-regarded, with a super comfortable bed and a cosy log burner. However, some guests mentioned the stairs could be challenging, indicating room for improvement in accessibility.
Facilities are appreciated for the off-grid experience they offer, though some guests mentioned issues with windows and the need for TLC. The modernised bathroom is a highlight, but the presence of an electric meter and some unusable items suggest a need for updates.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the host. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

The location is idyllic, coast path on the doorstep, sunsets over the sea, hills to climb, swimming from a rocky beach just below, deserted except for a couple of fishermen. We loved the cottage with its old-fashioned feel, no mod cons except a great modernised bathroom. Highly recommended.

Restful, peaceful retreat with beautiful sea views. Beautiful location, bed was super comfortable, ni internet or phone coverage so it was a complete digital detox! A few isues upon arrival were sorted swiftly, owner was very helpful when I raised isues, friendly and helpful member of the team came to sort the isues that day. Location and views were stunning, very peaceful, restful place. Cottage is old and quirky which I loved! Cottage needs TLC, windows need repairing (some difficult to open and close), interior paintwork could do with a touch up, general cleanlines poor although bedding and towels were clean.
