Beudy Mawr was spotlessly clean and a cozy comfortable place to return to after a day out. Situated a couple of miles outside the picturesque town of Caernarfon, supermarkets, shops, places to eat etc are just a short drive away. The nearest beach, Dinas Dinlle is just over 15 minutes drive to get too and is beautiful, with sand when the tide is out, otherwise pebbles, and a nice cafe and toilet facilities. The cottage is located on a working farm and is well-situated for many beautiful places to visit. Highly recommended visits to Snowdon, Llanberis waterfalls, drive through out-standing scenery at Pen-y-Pas, Beddgelert, Beaumaris Castle and many more. Take some £1 coins as electricity is via a coin meter, but this was no problem.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable, well equipped cottage on a working farm. Warm welcome from owner on arrival and later she was quickly on hand when we couldn't find the hot water heating switch (it worked beautifully). An ideal touring base from which to take in the sights of that part of north-west Wales and Anglesey. And there is plenty to see. Slightly thrown by the coin slot electric meter but the owner had pre-loaded it and supplied an extra £5 of coins should we need them. We didn't, but appreciated the thought.

We had a great week and the cottage was exactly what we needed. It was perfectly located between Caernarfon and The bridges onto Anglesey. There was so.much to do in the area a week was not long enough. Highly recommended.
