Llanberis is a prominent mountain tourist centre in Snowdonia National Park, and for good reason: it's dominated by the majestic Snowdon Massif and framed by two beautiful lakes (Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris). Walking and climbing enthusiasts should go to Llanberis because it serves as the gateway to Snowdon, Wales's tallest peak.
