About this property

This fantastic, mid-terrace cottage is settled in Trefor, Gwynedd and is the perfect place to come for a family holiday. It's set right on the Llyn Peninsula and enjoys close proximity to the coast, and there's on-street parking so you can get here easily and arrive stress-free. The cottage is just a stone's throw away from a free public car park, so you don't have to worry about paying those high parking fees! Make your way inside to find a welcoming living/dining room, where a L-shaped sofa offers entices you to unwind in front of the Smart TV; the room also features a pull-out dining table, giving it a spacious feel. When you're feeling peckish, head to the kitchen, a space that has a great look, with sleek, grey metro tiling, wooden units and a range of appliances. Once dinner has been savoured and day turns to night, choose one of two well-presented bedrooms to rest in, with the first of the bedrooms being a stylish double with a contemporary feel, and the second bedroom is perfect for children, with a bunk bed. The shower room is close by and offers a spacious walk-in cubicle for you to wash the day away in. The property backs onto a rear yard, which is a secure spot for your canine companion to relax and stretch their legs in. Head out to explore the village of Trefor, where walks can be enjoyed along the Llyn Coastal Path, with the nearby sights of Trefor Sea Stacks and Trwyn Brêc waiting to be discovered, as well as the idyllic Trefor Beach; in the evening, why not visit the local pub or grab some essentials from the village stores for dinner? Travel further into the Llyn Peninsula to discover the small town of Nefyn, where the Amgueddfa Forwrol Llŷn Maritime Museum, Nefyn Beach, the award-winning Nefyn Golf Club and the headland of Porthdinllaen await. Criccieth isn't far, a town offering access to another glorious beach, a historic castle, a railway station and a fantastic range of eateries, including The Prince of Wales pub. Why not explore more of the Llyn Peninsula, with its picturesque locations of Abersoch and Pwllheli, or maybe you'd prefer to venture to the mainland for a day out at Caernarfon, Portmeirion or Snowdonia National Park? A great stay, all-year-round, choose 14 New Street.

The village of Trefor is on the coast of Caernarfon Bay, with a sheltered beachfront that the Wales Coast Path passes through, or the braver may enjoy a frequent surf just outside the breakwater. There is a post office and a convenience shop in the settlement, as well as a licenced social club. The Welsh Language and Heritage Centre and restaurant are located in the nearby community of Llithfaen. Nearby Nefyn is a lovely seaside town with a two-mile stretch of sandy beach, as well as a decent range of shops, cafes, and restaurants; the award-winning golf club attracts families and couples from all over the world.

Not comfortable at all for spending cosy evenings with our dogs...

Also I don’t think enough waste bins were provided to recycle the waste! Anyway the location is close to a beautiful beach and surrounded by mountains and a river in front of the cottage!

A pleasantly positioned cottage with a lovely stream in front of the garden, cant be heard at night. The next door neighbour has made a small garden area in front of the cottage which adds to its appeal. The interior is very clean and looks recently decorated, however, a splash or two of colour would help create a warmer, more cosy atmosphere. the kitchen would benefit from a radio, clock and teapot along with a greater selection of utensils. The small back yard could easily be made somewhere to eat breakfast, weather permitting, of course. at present it needs the walls painting and the floor sweeping. The information folder needs to provide much more information, not just bus timetables!, for example, information on how to use the tv channels and adjust the radiators would be good. Information on and about places of interest to visit on the Lleyn Peninsula as it is superb area to visit.
