The cottage hosts seven bedrooms sleeping 15 guests and is within easy reach of Snowdonia National Park and a mile from Zip world which is recognised as Wales' number one attraction; perfect for special occasions, long-overdue family gatherings or corporate team building activities in the idyllic setting of North Wales. Ample off-road parking ensures an easy arrival into this peaceful setting, surrounded by woodland, and paired with the soundscape of the running river. Step into the main house to find a spacious kitchen/diner, the social heart of the house, with rustic seating for all 15 guests, two leather sofas and a Smart TV for dinner entertainment. Two steps lead to the well-appointed kitchen area where the group's chef can utilise a fabulous range cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer to stock up on local produce. A handy utility contains an extra fridge alongside a washing machine and tumble dryer to throw in muddy walking gear! Host a movie marathon or a family games night in the light-filled sitting room, complete with four sofas to sink into and a Smart TV, whilst the woodburning stove gently warms the room on colder nights. Relish summer evenings by stepping out onto the balcony overlooking the river to make the most of your countryside escape! Or why not head into the side garden and make dinner an alfresco affair? There's plenty of seating for everyone on the patio, as well as a lawn area for children and pets to play or roll out a blanket for a family picnic. You can walk directly from the house into the adjacent woodland which adjoins cycle tracks and walks. The main house hosts five bedrooms, including two ground-floor super-king-size, ideal for elderly relatives or those with limited mobility, whilst the first floor has a super-king-size, triple room and a single, all of which have en-suites. Find two more super-king-size bedrooms with en-suites in the annexe. There'll be no bathroom queues at Yr Ocar thanks to an extra ground-floor shower room to kick-start your day with a hot shower, as well as a convenient cloakroom to quickly freshen up before venturing out! There are a number of attractions right on your doorstep; take a short journey into Bethesda for a variety of shops and eateries to stock up the cupboards or take a break from cooking. Thrills seekers will be in their element at Zip World Penrhyn Quarry which is nearby and home to the world's fastest zipwire Velocity 2 as well as a myriad of other adrenaline fueling activities for the whole family. Whilst rugged pathways, mountain trails, woodland walks and outdoor activities await in Snowdonia National Park. Hike up Carnedd Llewelyn for picturesque vistas, follow the meadow terrain to Aber Falls or discover the wild landscape around the National Trust's Carneddau and Glyderau. A variety of towns and villages are easily accessible from Yr Ocar, including the cathedral city of Bangor to stroll along the promenade, dine in a charming café, and visit the nearby Penrhyn Castle and Garden.
