The barn is situated in the grounds of a small farm, and is an ideal holiday base close to the mountains of Snowdonia. Tan Rallt Barn has plenty of space for eight people and can accommodate climbing and walking groups coming into the Snowdonia National Park. It’s a great location for outdoor enthusiasts being close to the Ogwen Valley and Zip World - the longest zipwire in the northern hemisphere, and just a short drive from Llanberis and Snowdon, with its famous mountain railway. You’ll find Penrhyn Castle (NT) just down the road, whilst Caernarfon, with its impressive castle, the Isle of Anglesey with 125 miles of coastline, Capel Curig and Betws-y-Coed are all close by. The GreenWood Forest Park at Y Felinheli, Yr Hwylfan (The Fun Centre) at Caernarfon and Electric Mountain at Llanberis are all well worth a visit. Shop 0.5 miles, pub and restaurant 3 miles. The property is dog friendly. We are happy for three dogs to come and stay with you during your holiday.

Amazing Location Anglesey was a 10 min drive Tesco 5 mins down the road Lakes from 15 mins away I stayed here with my family and parents ages ranged from 10years to 74years 6 of us in total. When we arrived we were greeted by Lin who was lovely and pointed out a few things close by. The garden was great our dog loved roaming around the huge field, it was more than secure enough for her and our son like playing with his football in the small area. If the weather was better it would be great to sit out side and enjoy the view. All on one level was handy enough space for us all. 2 sets of bunk beds in one of the rooms, a double bed in with an en suite and 2 singles which were zipped together all the beds were very soft (good if that’s what you like) feather duvet’s and pillows were great to snuggle into. Both the showers were great very powerful and kept the temperature. 3, 2 seater sofas were comfortable and there were throws to cover them for the dog (we took our own so didn’t use them). Everywhere was clean. If I wanted to be extremely picky it would be regarding the dishwasher. The plastic coating has come off the metal bars which meant there was a lot of rust in it. Not a huge deal we just washed up by hand during our stay. We would return but maybe bring a mattress topper (we like our orthopaedic mattress, like sleeping on a rock) Great stay thanks

This cottage was perfect in every way for us and our 3 dogs. Sofas and bed were really comfortable and hard flooring really practical. Everything was thought of and Lyn was helpful but not intrusive.We would certainly go back again.

Great location, near many attractions. Also close to main roads which lead you to these attractions. Barn was comfortable, with all equipment available. Walled garden fantastic, lots of space for dogs to run.Brilliant.
