Step inside to discover an entrance hallway, kick off your walking boots and hang your jackets, ready for the next ramble amongst nature. Be charmed by the kitchen/diner, with its white-washed stone wall housing a woodburning stove and its stylish grey cupboards with an electric oven, hob and dishwasher. Enjoy dining together at the island with seating for four and why not make a toast to the occasion? Adjacent, you will find a handy utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer to rinse off your hiking gear. Unwind in the sitting room, which is flooded in natural light with its conservatory style; curl up with a good book in the armchair and savour the views with a cup of tea. Throw open the patio doors to reach the marvellous garden, here you can admire the pond, nestle besides the fire pit and on sunny days make use of the barbecue. As the sky grows dark, retreat inside to discover a ground-floor double bedroom with a built-in wardrobe and a shower room close-by to avoid the morning queues. Climb upstairs to find the lovely twin bedroom (which can be a king-size on request), with storage to house your personal belongings and a stylish shower room next door. Awaken with a cup of coffee in the sitting room with the morning sunshine on your face before planning the day ahead. For an exciting afternoon, head to the National White Water Centre to experience water rafting or if that's not for you, enjoy a tranquil stroll around Cors-y-Sarnau. A scenic drive will lead you to the historic town of Bala, here avid walkers can explore the picturesque Bala Lake and join in watersports activities at the Sailing Club! To soak in more of the natural sights there is the Bala Lake Railway, which takes guests through the wonderful Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. To see cascading waterfalls and deep woods, visit the village of Betws-y-coed, here you can marvel at art exhibitions at the gallery, unravel its past at Conwy Valley Railway Museum, or have a thrilling time at Zip World. For a rural retreat to North wales, with much to see and do, choose Ty Cipar.

The lively market town of Bala is nestled within the stunning Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, at the head of Llyn Tegid, Bala's famed lake, which is Wales' largest natural lake and home to the rare Gwyniad, an Ice Age relic. Bala is the headquarters of the narrow gauge Bala Lake Railway and is known for outstanding watersports such as fishing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, and whitewater rafting. Very comfortable and was immaculately clean when we arrived. Everything was there for a home away from home and the cottage is very well laid out and decorated. Garden looked lovely as well but unfortunately didn't get to use it due to weather. Great communication from owners. Only reason not five stars was that the hot water wasn't working on a couple of days due to boiler issues. These we resolved swiftly be the owner but did appear to occur again shortly before leaving. Not a major issue in the summer but could be a real problem for winter visitors.

Our main reason for booking was we didn't want any neighbours for our holiday because we wanted to get away from it all .We looked at other properties but chose this one so was surprised to notice there was a property right next door with a gate leading to. The property was well furnished with everything you could need for your holiday, only improvement we would recommend would be bigger bins as we filled the bin with us being a family of 4. We had a fantastic holiday, the birds nesting on the side of the property was amazing and would recommend this for a holiday property to others as it was well situated for all the walks and areas we planned on visiting. The owners definitely thought of everything and the property is well cared for. Thankyou for our amazing holiday.
