Located close to the Wales Coast Path, plus a cycle path and Whistling Sands are just 1 mile away, making this cottage an ideal base for couples, friends or a family who want to spend time together exploring this beautiful coastline and area of North Wales. This cosy traditional cottage is well-presented and maintained, offering great value, comfortable accommodation in a great location. The cosy sitting room offers comfy sofas and an armchair to relax in, with a warming electric fire, lovely for those chillier evenings enjoying a night in. The kitchen is well-equipped with a relaxing dining/breakfast table, ideal for leisurely breakfasts and late suppers while you plan where to visit the next day. Upstairs, the three bedrooms are all furnished in a traditional style with comfy beds, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The well-appointed shower room completes this lovely cottage. There is a seating area to the rear of the cottage, which is in an open courtyard situation and enjoys a sunny aspect most of the day, table and chairs provide and ideal place to sit out and enjoy a morning cuppa or a glass of something, relaxing after a long day on the beach! Take a stroll along the Wales Coast Path which is close by or explore and discover the numerous nearby unspoilt beaches, with rock pools and coves. The cottage is nestled within a recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which stretches around the tip of the Llyn Peninsula. Visit the famous Whistling Sands beach which is only a mile away. The new marine visitor centre in Aberdaron is also well worth a visit or have a leisurely lunch at one of the local village pubs. During the busier summer months, there is a regular door to door bus service which is ideal if you don’t want to drive. Close by are the popular resorts of Abersoch and Pwllheli, which are well worth exploring. Further afield but within driving distance is the Italianate village of Portmeirion, the wonderful Snowdonia National Park, and the Isle of Anglesey. This homely cottage is an ideal base for exploring the riches this beautiful area offers.

Situated on the Western tip of the Llyn Peninsula, Aberdaron is charming fishing village sat on the banks of the converging Rivers Daron and Cyll-y-Feelin, surrounded by miles of beautiful sandy beach and the stunning Llyn Heritage Coast Area (which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) just waiting to be explored. The village comprises of a number of picturesque, white-washed fishing cottages as well as a number of cafes, hotels and the Church of St Hywyn, all climbing their way up into the surrounding hills. The beach is ideal for families, sun bathers and for those wanting to enjoy some water sports, there is also a promenade where you can watch the sailing boats and regattas in the bay. The popular resorts of Pwllheli and Abersoch are within easy reach offering even more beautiful beaches as well as a number of shops and eateries. Discover fabulous castles and coves, or enjoy excellent fishing, watersports and golf opportunities, all available nearby. The mountain ranges of the Snowdonia National Park are also within driving distance and offer some excellent opportunities to experience to get active while enjoying some incredible views of the North Wales countryside.

    However no cleaning products were available nor washing up liquid or basic cooking essentials like salt oil etc. I think making this clearer that these items would need to be brought or purchased would have helped. That said I would recommend

    Turned heating on for us when it dropped cold. Place was absolutely spotless clean when we arrived and we tried out best to leave it the same way. Enjoyed our stay so much and will return!
