The cottage is on the edge of the village and approached through a welcoming courtyard with private parking, and enters into a charming kitchen with breakfast table creating a social hub to the home. Moving into the impressive sitting room you will want to sit and relax on the comfy corner sofa in front of the woodburner straight away, perhaps before enjoying a romantic meal at the dining table overlooking the spacious lawned gardens. The pretty bedroom is well-appointed with a king-size bed. Careful thought has been put into the lighting throughout the property to create an ambience to suit all moods and make this a delightful, relaxing cottage both inside and out. The rear patio is a superb sun trap, and overlooks half an acre of lawn and woodland, which although shared with next door, offers peace and privacy. Doorstep walks lead across fields to Loggerheads and Moel Famau, joining up with The Clwydian Way within 10 minutes walk, and Offa's Dyke after that. For the more energetic why not take part in the Moel Famau Challenge or the Moel Famau half marathon if your holiday dates coincide? The welcoming village pub is a short walk, and for the golf enthusiasts, you will find the popular Mold golf course within half a mile. The bustling market town of Mold is three miles away and offers a regular market, selection of shops, good pubs and Theatre Clwyd, the National Theatre for Wales. Nearby excellent walking and breathtaking scenery can be enjoyed along the Offa's Dyke path, and the city of Chester is just 18 miles away, with its historic buildings, riverside walks, racecourse and excellent shopping. There is so much to do on the doorstep you will wonder how you have not discovered this superb area before.

Cilcain is a delightful country village in a beautiful setting, offering quaint traditional houses, a shop selling many local goods and produce and a 16th century inn, which forms the hub of the community.
