About this property

Enlli is a detached bungalow resting in the quaint market town of Holywell in North Wales. Enjoying beautiful views over the estuary towards the Wirral and beyond, this idyllic base welcomes all guests, with easy access to the Welsh coastline. After a long day at the beach, look forward to unwinding in the sitting room, complete with two sofas arranged in front of the electric fire, along with a Smart TV for all your on-demand entertainment. Just behind rests a dining area where mealtimes can be enjoyed, with home-cooked food prepared in the well-equipped kitchen which offers all the essentials for a self-catered break, including an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. If you’re looking for a quiet moment or two then head to the snug room or conservatory, both perfect spots for getting lost in a good book or to simply reflect on the day’s activities. As the evening draws to a close, look no further than the double bedrooms to accommodate your rest, each well-furnished with crisp bed linen and housing ample storage for your items. Completing the interior of Enlli is the refreshing bathroom, enhanced with a bath and walk-in shower, so you can best decide how to prepare for the day. With your own lawned garden and outdoor seating area, this is a wonderful North Wales cottage at which to relax. If you fancy a night off cooking then stroll into Holywell town centre where you will find a range of restaurants, pubs and takeaways to cater for your hunger. Nearby you will also find the 7th century St Winefride’s Well which is one of the Seven Wonders of Wales, as well as Basingwerk Abbey, and Greenfield Valley Heritage Park, a 70-acre country park, it is well known for its woodland, reservoirs, ancient monuments, rich industrial past. Soak up the sunshine at the nearby beach of Talacre or the seaside resort towns of Rhyl and Prestatyn, and Llandudno home to a plethora of attractions. Alternatively, take a day trip to the vibrant city of Chester where you can explore the famous Roman Walls, a superb selection of shops or even visit the popular Chester Zoo, home to a wonderful array of exotic animals, or maybe take a trip to Liverpool City Centre for a bit of shopping! Enlli is an inviting North Wales cottage, perfect for couples, friends and families alike.

Gaining its name from the town's most famous attraction, the 7th century St Winefride's Well, the market town of Holywell offers a lovely base for holidaymakers. Boasting over 60 listed buildings, along with a pedestrianised shopping centre, pubs and restaurants, there is plenty to do. We love the conservatory and the quiet surroundings. Its well placed for visiting interesting places in North Wales, Chester and Liverpool.

We love the view over the Dee estuary and the quiet location. Always immaculate and with comfortable beds. The conservatory is a pleasant extra space and most usable on cooler days. Ideal for couples but more cutlery and crockery would be needed if catering for four people. Easy access to shops and other amenities in the small town. The trout farm was a super find. Excellent base for our birdwatching activities.
