Flint, the third-largest county town in Flintshire, is situated in northeastern Wales on the River Dee Estuary. Flint offers views of the Wirral across the Dee and Halkyn Mountain to the south. Flint, whose name alludes to the stone platform from which the area's first fortress was constructed, is currently a combination of open countryside and a hive of activity. While being close to North Wales' beautiful locations like Llangollen or Colwyn Bay, you can quickly access the neighbouring towns of Chester, Liverpool, and even Manchester almost directly on the train thanks to great transportation connections. There are stores, bars, and restaurants in Flint, so you won't have to travel too far to get all you need.

The property had everything we needed, was really comfortable and suited us as a family of four well. We took our 4 and 1 year old and the location was brilliant. There's a great park 2 minutes away, Chester zoo within half an hour and the local beaches all within 30 mins. Lovely little garden to use, there were accounts set up for Netflix/BBC/channel 4 etc so didn't need to use your own. Owner was lovely and contacted us before arrival and after departure. We had an accident at the house on the last morning and the owner was very understanding and accommodating. We definitely recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Very cosy in the winter. The driveway is a bit narrow but that's really the only challenge.
