Downstairs the cosy sitting room is furnished with a leather sofa and reclining armchair, perfect for stretching your legs out in comfort. The well-equipped kitchen leads out onto the patio garden, complete with furniture. There's everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Llanyblodwel is a small rural Shropshire village located in the beautiful Tanat Valley, close to the Offas Dyke Path and only one mile from the Welsh border. The village is surrounded by stunning countryside and boasts the Grade I Listed St. Michaels Church and a 15th century pub.

The only drawback is the iffy mobile signal and wifi. This seems pretty general in Shropshire and will be an advantage to some who want to get away from the phone. For us, the local pub's fast wifi was one answer to catch up if necessary; another is to take with you a mobile data gadget to connect to the internet; and the best answer is to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We shall be going again. Thank you - we had a lovely time.

It is a fabulous holiday let, very clean and well equipped with a lovely outside seating area and the balcony was great for a morning cuppa in the sunshine. The flexibility of having single beds suited us as a group of four friends. Really friendly owners and the welcoming milk and wine were much appreciated as were the flowers on the kitchen table. The only major criticism is the Wi-Fi. In the cottage instructions it says the signal is weak, that is an understatement, we were unable to connect to it, so it was no use to us at all. There was also limited phone signal. If you want to get away from it all then it is an ideal place, possibly it should not be advertised as having Wi-Fi when in reality it doesnât. Flies were also an issue, we had lovely weather so had doors and windows open, we were constantly swatting flies in the kitchen (with my own fly swat) so possibly some fly spray or a swatter could be provided. Other than that have no hesitation in recommending this property.
