Snaptrip says

The Lambing Shed in Rhyl is highly praised for its peaceful and idyllic setting, offering a tranquil retreat with beautiful surroundings. Guests appreciate the well-equipped, comfortable, and tastefully furnished cottage, noting its cleanliness and the friendliness of the owners. While some minor issues with Wi-Fi and maintenance are mentioned, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently report that the cottage is spotlessly clean, with several reviews highlighting the immaculate condition of the property. The provision of ample towels and well-decorated rooms contribute to the high cleanliness standards experienced by visitors.

The location is frequently described as perfect, peaceful, and ideal for nature lovers, with easy access to local amenities and attractions. The rural setting provides tranquility and is appreciated for its proximity to walking paths and beaches, although the remote location requires competent driving on single track lanes.

Comfort is a strong point for The Lambing Shed, with guests finding the property cosy and homely. The beds are generally comfortable, and the presence of a log burner adds to the cosy atmosphere. However, a single mention of an uncomfortable single bed slightly affects the score.

The cottage is well-equipped with everything needed for a stay, including a well-appointed kitchen and entertainment options like DVDs and games. Some guests experienced issues with Wi-Fi, the dishwasher, and TV reception, which suggests room for improvement in the maintenance of facilities.

While guests mention the provision of Welsh cakes and milk, which indicates thoughtfulness, there are not enough references to gifts or additional thoughtful touches to accurately score this category. Therefore, the score is set to null, and guests should note that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

I defy anyone that doesn't decide to book this place again even before their stay is over! Just amazing. Peaceful. Quiet. OMG!! the peace!

The Lambing Shed was an excellent and comfy base for a bit of exploring the local area. My only small niggles were the TV channels were mostly glitching and unwatchable. I think we found 3 channels that worked, but on the third or fourth day we realised they had supplied a Netflix account which solved most of this. The only other thing we found was the Dishwasher was sometimes problematic and wouldn’t always turn on, when it did this - we just washed up be hand. For anyone booking the Lambing Shed in the future, they will have a lovely break, we would return without question. Although anyone booking needs to know it is located down some very Welsh single track lanes and at times can result in a long reversing manoeuvre if you are unlucky enough to come head on with another vehicle, so you need to be a competent driver, but it’s worth it.

Only 2 problems: we couldn't get the dishwasher to work, and the last section of the approach road has deteriorated considerably, and needs a lot of holes filling-in.
