Walk or cycle the Sea Front Trail 13.5 miles away, taking you out of Ruthin into Rhyl (15 miles) and following the coastal route to Prestatyn (13 miles) and Rhuddlan (12 miles). Try a spot of coarse fishing at Bathafarm Hall 7.5 miles away, located in a peaceful setting with views towards the Clwydian hills.
