About this property

Resting on a road that links Penrhyn Bay with Llandudno and Colwyn Bay is Tŷ Caeredin, a traditional and detached cottage within walking distance of the beach and a host of amenities, in the centre of the village of Penrhyn Bay. The property sits back from the road, opposite a large park with a children's play ground, thanks to a long and steep driveway that offers parking for up to two cars, and is a great base for those wanting to explore North Wales' most loved attractions, within easy reach of Rhos on Sea, Conwy, Colwyn Bay, Llandudno and the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. Take the short set of steps up to the front porch and step inside the property to discover a light and neutrally decorated property, offering a perfect blend of traditional furniture with modern touches. The sitting room is a welcoming space to relax in after a long day of exploration, with a choice of sofa and armchairs to kick back on while enjoying a good book from the bookshelf, a family game night with one of the provided board games, or a movie night watching the Smart TV, while the gas fire heats up the room and provides a cosy ambiance. The traditional kitchen is spacious and well-equipped with all of the appliances you'll need to create home-cooked meals, while the adjoining utility offers an additional fridge/freezer, a microwave and a washing machine, should you need to clean any clothes after a day at the beach. Enjoy meals in the dining room around the large dining table as you make plans for the upcoming days of your stay and when sleep is calling, choose from a ground-floor twin, served by a shower room with large walk-in shower, or head upstairs to find a generously sized twin room and a master double, all with ample storage space and served by a second shower room with spacious walk-in shower. Spend time in the enclosed back garden, taking the steps up onto a patio area and adjoining lawn, where your pet can run freely and stretch their legs as you sit down with a morning coffee or alfresco lunch in the sunshine. Penrhyn Bay offers a good selection of shops for grabbing any essential items, a pub, a handful of restaurants and takeaways, if you don't feel like cooking one night, and an excellent fish and chip shop, all within walking distance of the property. The quiet sand and shingle beach of Penrhyn Bay Beach is less than 10 minutes' walk away, with rockpools filled with wildlife to keep curious explorers entertained, while close by is Rhos on Sea golf club, open to non-members and boasting lovely coastal views. The seaside resort of Rhos on Sea is just one mile away, home to an idyllic harbour and Blue Flag awarded sandy beach, surrounded by cafés, shops and restaurants. Head to Colwyn Bay to find a sandy beach, popular for watersports like kayaking and windsurfing, hop on a boat to try and spot seals, porpoises and dolphins known to frequent the area, and spend an afternoon at the Welsh Mountain Zoo. The town of Llandudno lies between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme, offering walking opportunities and boasting incredible views. Angel Bay on the Little Orme is a 20 minute walk away, where seals and their pups can be seen playing in the sea. Stroll along the promenade, backed by Victorian hotels, and enjoy an afternoon at one of its many beaches, including several quieter beaches backed by sand dunes, should you wish to escape the crowds. Walkers and cyclists will enjoy exploring the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, boasting stunning mountain walks, including a challenging hike up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Wales' highest peak, rewarding you with breath-taking scenery. There is so much to see and do from the doorstep of this wonderful North Wales holiday home.

I loved the decor it was true of its time and very stylish. We enjoyed sitting in the garden. The only draw back was the driveway being narrow for someone getting out the car with a disability.

Easy to find.. location is very good . You can drive to many nearby places or hop on the bus which stops opposite. Try the fish and chips over the road..very nice. House is big ,plenty of space and was very clean, but we didn't like the sofas ..we like our comfort on an evening after long days out.. Also the TV is small. The beds are really comfortable. The garden was lovely and secure for our dog. There is a washer but no drier And pegs but no washing line. With the beautiful weather we had , we had to put the airer outside ,would benefit from a rotary line Also in Skye's description it doesn't state dogs are not allowed upstairs. But a few days before our arrival the owner emailed to say dogs wasn't allowed upstairs and a stair gate is to be used . With this ..we would not have booked this house as it's one of the first things we look at when booking. We were disappointed with this . Overall we did have a nice week .the owner came round to meet us and was very friendly . Thanks . David

This property was ideal and was a ten-minute drive to Colwyn Bay, Ross on Sea, and Llandudno the hosts added a number of  little extras like sauces dish washer tablets which was great. The property was clean and well maintained with all essentials you would expect in your own home. I have to say this was a lovely property for our family and will be revisiting in the future.
