About this property

Traeth Bach Cottage is a lovely mid terrace holiday home positioned in the coastal town of Llandudno, North Wales. This pet-friendly house has a nautical theme throughout and is just a short walk to the beach, where you can enjoy the sand, surf, and sun all day long. Bring along your family; leave your vehicle in an off-road parking space before exploring your home with blue, gold and white décor. Discover the entrance hallway and from here, locate the sitting room, a pleasant space, furnished with two deep blue sofas, a coffee table, and a smart TV that lets you binge-watch your favourite shows. Moving through the property, the kitchen/diner is a contemporary space with all the amenities you could need. It has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, and dining seating. Let the outside in and throw open the patio door which will lead you to the enclosed courtyard; here you can unwind in the sun with a cold beverage. As the evening cools, retire inside and venture upstairs, where you can wash the day away in the panelled shower room whilst your towel keeps dry and warm on the heated towel rail. There are three bedrooms, tastefully furnished, so take your pick between a double, a twin, and an adult bunk bedroom. Just moments away, you will find a great selection of cafes, bars, and shops to assist with your self-catered stay, as well as an expansive golf course to test your swing. The town is also home to the Y Gogarth Great Orme Country Park, which offers stunning views of the surrounding area, and the Great Orme Tramway, which takes visitors up to the summit of the Great Orme mountain. Take a step back in time with a visit to Conwy, Wales; this medieval town is home to Conwy Castle, one of the largest and most well-preserved castles in Wales. For those seeking an outdoors adventure, there is Snowdonia National Park, just a short car journey away, so be sure to bring along your hiking gear. For an unforgettable trip to North Wales, choose Traeth Bach Cottages.

These headlands and the town's two waterfronts give Llandudno its special appeal. The town has two superb beaches: the North Shore, with its wide promenade and Victorian hotels, and the quieter West Shore, with miles of sandy shoreline and views of Anglesey. For the best views, ride the Great Orme Tramway or a mile-long cable car to the summit. Venue Cymru, North Wales' premier theatrical stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy, and visiting orchestras, is just a stone's throw from the promenade. World Heritage Site Conwy is 4 miles away. Conwy is a mediaeval gem with a magnificent castle and well-preserved town walls.

I had been made aware in advance so it wasn’t a surprise and at first I thought it wasnt too bad but then it rained and filled up with water everywhere making it even harder to navigate through the low and high points. Every day I was worried for my alloy wheels but luckily I came out unscathed. It’s out of the owners control from what I could tell and would take the entire community to all pay to fix it as it’s an unadopted stretch of road Would I be able to cope with this if I lived here? Absolutely not as its tight as well as uneven Could I cope with this for a few days break? Sure but be careful (it is not really practical to park your car elsewhere either) The positives: It’s clear from the minute you walk in that the owner has put a lot of money, time and effort into making this a great holiday home. Very clean and nicely decorated with lots of nice little touches that gives it a theme throughout. Modern kitchen and bathroom with everything you need so you didn’t need to go shopping for all the little things like washing up liquid, kitchen roll, foil etc. Decent size back yard and secure so our dog couldn’t escape. The front room door did wedge shut which was a concern as we had kids with us which kept getting shut in. The owner came out to try and fix but I think it needed to have some wood shaved off the door to properly stop this (the owners responded very quickly too) 2 decent size bedrooms with the 3rd being a box room with bunk beds (never heard my kids complain though) Llandudno is a great area with lots of lovely surrounding areas which made this a great base for us. I’d stay at this holiday home again for sure if only it it didn’t have the access road issue. Unfortunately it lost a star for this reason but it is the only reason it would put me off from booking it if I were to stay in this area again

The house was lovely and clean. Thank for the cakes and milk left lovely thought. But there was only a freezer box in the fridge I really don’t think that’s enough for a family of six. No slip mat in the shower and no toilet brush to clean the toilet. I went and brought these myself. My dad couldn’t even go out from the house in his mobility scooter as the road and pavement were in terrible condition. We came home two days early.

We spent a week there and the cottage was great for us. It's only a 20 minute walk to the main part of LLandudno and very close to the West Shore beach. The cottage itself had everything we needed for us to cook and it was also well equipped in terms of ironing board, hair dryer, dish washing tablets etc. A very nice touch was finding a large bottle of milk in the fridge and 2 packets of biscuits when we arrived. The cottage is nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. Overall we were very happy and would highly recommend.
