About this property

This charming, duplex apartment sits along the seafront along the west shore of Llandudno, North Wales. Appointed to a charming standard throughout, The Orme Apartment is a wonderful choice for families and friends seeking a stay in this popular seaside town. There are beautiful walks nearby, including the Great Orme. With its clean and neutral colour scheme, the sitting room is a charming spot to sit down and catch up on your favourite shows, whilst the electric fire offers a gentle warmth. Move through to the kitchen, enhanced with sleek grey units and integrated appliances, here you can prepare your favourite dishes when you’re not out sampling the many restaurants and takeaways. Venture to the second floor to find the bedrooms, both neutrally presented with ample storage, whilst there’s plenty of room for your personal belongings. When you’re ready to explore, Llandudno is filled with wonderful attractions, including the Y Gogarth Great Orme Country Park, which offers stunning views of the surrounding area, and the Great Orme Tramway, which takes visitors up to the summit of the Great Orme Mountain. Spend some money in the amusement arcade, amble along the promenade, pick up a portion of fish and chips or choose from a variety of bars and restaurants, including Wildwood, Carlton and Osborne’s Café Grill. Head over to Conwy and visit the charming Conwy Morfa Beach, or head to the National Trust’s Bodnant Garden to explore 80 acres of wonderful shrubbery. The Orme Apartment is a splendid escape to this bustling region of North Wales. Note: This property can be booked with Refs. 1077839, 1098613, 1098614, together sleeping up to 15 guests.

These two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme, as well as the town's two waterfronts are what give Llandudno its unique attraction as a tourist destination. There are two outstanding beaches in the town: the North Shore, which has a huge promenade backed by an impressive crescent of Victorian hotels, and the calmer West Shore, which has kilometres of sandy beachfront backed by sand dunes and amazing views of Anglesey. However, for the greatest views, you may take the Great Orme Tramway or an exhilarating over-a-mile cable car journey to the peak of the 679ft Great Orme. The promenade is only a short distance from the town's superb collection of stores, bars, restaurants, and cafés. Venue Cymru, North Wales' principal theatre stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy, and touring orchestras, also sits nearby. The town of Conwy, a recognised World Heritage Site, is only 4 miles distant. A real gem from the Middle Ages, Conwy is surrounded by its well-preserved town walls and a magnificent castle. There is a lot to see and do, including miles of sandy beaches along the coast of North Wales and fantastic hiking and climbing in the Snowdonia National Park only 20 minutes away.

The apartment is full of damp. It's damp in the living room, front bedroom and bathroom. The windows you can hear the wind and traffic outside even though the windows are shut. It's very cold and drafty. The landlord controls the heating and switches it off during the night which leaves the apartment ice cold. You don't have any normal TV channels. You can only watch TV if you have an account of your own for Netflix etc. It's not suitable for people who are hard of walking as there is 3 flights of stairs to get to the kitchen and bathroom and then you have to go up another flight of stairs to the 2 bedrooms and living room

Very close to West Shore beach, kids park and a pub. It's too far away from everything in winter and the pub is dead at this time of year. The house itself was okay. The beds in the second room are very old and you can feel the springs. They also have no head board and can't be pushed up to the wall so you lose your pillows during the night. We also noticed the gable end (main bedroom) and front room walls had large wet patches from damp. There's no lock on the bathroom door, which could be embarrassing as it's of the kitchen. All of this said if the issues were all resolved it would be a good place in the summer. But I wouldn't go back unless there were

The flat has stunning views and some seating in the window would be welcome. Ideal location for walks into the town and we only used the car when going on further outings. Would certainly stay here again.
