Fig Tree is a dog-friendly cottage sleeping five, tucked into the quiet edge of the Bodnant Estate with open views west across the Conwy Valley to the peaks of Eryri. There are two patio areas - one for dining, one for sitting - plus a private hot tub with the valley laid out in front of you. Guests also have around-the-clock access to a heated indoor pool shared with just one neighbouring cottage. Bodnant Garden is three miles away; Conwy Castle, the coast and the mountains are all within easy reach.

Fig Tree sleeps five across two ground-floor bedrooms, sitting high above the Conwy Valley with wide views towards the peaks of Eryri. The open-plan living area faces both south and west, catching the light all day. Sliding glass doors open onto a wraparound patio with a covered section for shelter and a second elevated area with sofa seating. A private hot tub and a heated indoor pool shared with just one neighbouring cottage complete the picture. Dog-friendly and entirely on one level.

Local Area

The Bee Inn at Eglwysbach is just down the lane, and the Bodnant Welsh Food Centre - farm shop, café and restaurant - is a short drive away for fresh local produce. Bodnant Garden is three miles down the road, the mountain bike trails of Gwydir Forest Park are on the doorstep and Zip World's sites at Betws-y-Coed, Llechwedd and Penrhyn Quarry are all within easy reach. Conwy Castle, Llandudno and the coast are under half an hour away. For most guests, the harder question isn't what to do, but what to leave for next time.

Group Bookings

Fig Tree shares a courtyard with Laurel, our neighbouring cottage sleeping four. Booked together as The Entire Getaway, the two cottages accommodate up to nine guests - ideal for extended families or multi-generational groups who want to holiday together while keeping their own front doors, living spaces and kitchens.

Fig Tree is available year-round, with short breaks from two nights available outside peak season. Friday and Monday are our standard changeover days.

Accommodation Comprises:

Fig Tree is an open-plan, single-storey cottage with all accommodation on the ground floor.

Living Area: Comfortable seating positioned to make the most of the south and west-facing views, with sliding glass doors opening onto the patio. Smart TV with Freeview and DVD player. Full central heating throughout.

Kitchen & Dining: Fully equipped, with a dishwasher, full-height fridge/freezer, microwave and Nespresso machine (starter pods provided). The dining area seats five.

Master Bedroom: King-size bed with a full-length window overlooking the garden.

Bedroom 2: Two single beds (zip-and-link) that can be configured as a super-king on request, plus a convertible chair bed for a fifth guest - a flexible arrangement that works well for families.

Bathroom: Double-ended bath and separate walk-in shower. Toiletries, bath sheets and hand towels included.

Outside & Facilities:

Patio & Hot Tub: A wraparound patio with a covered section for shelter and a second elevated area with sofa seating. Private hot tub with open views across the valley.

Swimming Pool: Just across the courtyard is the heated indoor pool - 11 metres, open 24/7, shared only with the neighbouring cottage. Inflatables and pool toys are welcome.

Laundry Room: Located in the courtyard, with a washing machine, tumble dryer and a library of books and games.

Gardens: Guests have access to over an acre of shared gardens.

Parking: Dedicated parking for two cars, plus a shared 7kW EV charging point (pay-as-you-go via app).

What to Bring: Your own towels for the pool and hot tub and cot bedding if using the travel cot.

Dogs: Up to two well-behaved dogs welcome. £35 per dog per stay, booked in advance.
