Fishermans Cottage in Conwy is highly praised for its cleanliness, prime location, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the cosy atmosphere, modern amenities, and thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and dog-friendly provisions. While some mention the parking can be tight for larger vehicles and the sofas could be more comfortable, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many keen to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviewers consistently mention the exceptional cleanliness of the cottage, with several noting it was spotless and well-maintained. The high standard of cleanliness contributes significantly to the positive experiences of guests.

The cottage's location is frequently highlighted as perfect, being central and within easy walking distance to Conwy's attractions. Its proximity to Snowdonia and other North Wales sites is also appreciated, although the hill leading back to the cottage is noted by some.

The comfort of the cottage is generally well-regarded, with specific praise for the comfy bed and underfloor heating in the bathroom. However, some guests find the sofas and bed access less comfortable, slightly affecting the overall comfort score.

Cosy & comfy and met all our needs. Small suggestion would be a curtain over front door for added cosyness / privacy & maybe an electric log burner type fire? But not essential and didn't detract from a lovely experience. Thank you.

Well equipped with everything you need for you stay. Highly recommended. Just one thing, some simple instructions for the central heating would be good. Couldn't find any to turn it off

The cottage is cosy and compact and has everything you need for your stay in it. It was also nice and clean, and the immediate area it is situated is lovely and quiet. When we stayed here there were a few downfalls of rain, which meant the outside area did get a bit on the muddy side, which I was conscious of treading into the cottage, but that is not a complaint - nobody can control the weather. The site of the cottage is within easy reach of the main town centre, although on a bit of a hill. The hill was no problem for me, but my partner who has a bad back, did find it a bit of a struggle everyday going back up it! All of the neighbours on the little street where the cottage is, were lovely and very friendly. Sylvie and her little pug Louie, who live right next door to the cottage, was absolutely great, what a character! We'd stay here again just to see her!
