About this property

A beautiful Victorian terraced property, Moss Bank House is found just outside Conwy’s UNESCO World Heritage site’s town walls and castle, in an elevated position and a view of Conwy castle through the trees. It’s the perfect spot from which to enjoy the many charms of this wonderful small town, and yet still be within easy driving distance of Snowdonia, North Wales’ beaches and the stunning natural beauty of the Conwy Valley. The owners have sympathetically restored the house, retaining original features while adding contemporary notes that give you all the comforts of modern living. Arranged over two floors Moss Bank House offers spacious and well-appointed holiday accommodation throughout, this lovely property will truly delight the whole family. A beautiful sitting room with wood burning stove truly is a wonderful room to relax in with plenty of comfy seating. The fitted kitchen has a wonderful AGA, solid wood and granite work surfaces and a Belfast sink, and is well-equipped and provides everything you will need. The dining room is open plan to the kitchen which is so convenient for a social family gathering. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms altogether. Two doubles, Wild Rose and Heather benefit from en-suite bathrooms. The twin room, Lavender enjoys a view of Conwy castle through the trees and the single room, Hedgerow, also has a pull out guest bed for flexible sleeping arrangements. The bedrooms are very stylish and individually designed, all taking on the colours, soft furnishings and fabrics to reflect the given names. A wonderful family bathroom with a free standing slipper bath is perfect for a relaxing soak and for convenience there is a ground floor cloakroom. The front of Moss Bank House enjoys a sunny aspect during the day, with views of Conwy castle through the trees, there is a well kept lawn area and terrace with two sets of tables and chairs, perfect for dining al-fresco. There is also a small rear elevated patio area. Conwy boasts the highest amount of independent shopping for any town in the area, so once you’ve explored the castle’s ramparts and the three-quarters-of-a-mile of town walls, then pop down into the little town’s narrow streets and discover great little stores and numerous wonderful places to eat and drink, not forgetting to pop down to the historic small quayside and take a peek inside the Smallest House in Great Britain, a 16th century treasure standing just 122 inches tall! A little further afield is the world-famous Bodnant Gardens, Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno, venture into the Snowdonia National Park or over to the beautiful Isle of Anglesey, which boasts over 100 miles of spectacular coastline. Whatever you decide, Moss Bank House is sure to delight and makes a truly superb base for any season you choose to visit. Property can be booked with 1006445.
