About this property

Just a stone's throw away from Llandudno, visit West Shore Cottage, a home-away-from-home semi-detached holiday retreat, bringing guests a memorable stay all season round. Be welcomed by a hallway which divides off to a collection of rooms, beginning with a modernised, oak-finished kitchen. The lounge/diner offers many cosy nights in, a heart-warming place to relax on the sumptuous L-shaped sofa, or the dining table which is tucked into the side of the room. With the addition of a Bluetooth speaker, CD, radio, and DVD player, make yourselves comfortable morning through to night time. When the sun is shining, why not open up the french doors, to appreciate the suntrap of a garden and its south-facing aspect, which sends the sun your way mid-afternoon. Upstairs, discover two bedrooms; the first is presented as a king-size, and includes a dressing table, as well as a built-in wardrobe. Additionally choose the bunk room, light and vibrant, with a selection of books, toys to keep the little ones occupied. The family bathroom finishes the interior, complete with a bath and an overhead shower. Llandudno features two lovely beaches - the North Shore, with its wide promenade backed by an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels and the quieter West Shore with miles of sandy shoreline backed by sand dunes with views towards Anglesey. Just four miles away is the town of Conwy - a designated World Heritage Site. A true medieval gem, dominated by a castle and enclosed by its well-preserved town walls. Snowdonia National Park lies just 20 minutes' drive away. West Shore Cottage has all you need in great distance.

The Victorian seaside town of Llandudno has a grand promenade, two beaches, and a selection of shops, pubs and eateries. For views over the town and coast, head up the notable Great Orme using the tramway or cable car. The rest of the north Wales coast is easily accessible, as are the delights of Snowdonia, and the beaches and villages of Anglesey.

There is a couple of things I’d change/suggest. My partner and I didn’t sleep the best, that could be down to preference of mattress but maybe an upgrade on the master mattress. I’d definitely provide better washing up liquid, we ended up buying our own to wash things as the cheap one we had to use a lot of and didn’t seem clean enough. I’d leave a couple of pods/washing detergent for guests for easiness. We had to use the camp bed mattress for the travel cot, I’m not sure how much it’s used so it might not matter but possibly buying a travel cot mattress insert would come in handy for guests as our toddler wouldn’t sleep if we didn’t put the camp bed mattress down. We provided our own bedding (which we knew and was fine). Maybe some hand wash upstairs too. Everywhere was clean although we did fine some sweet wrappers and trick or treat buckets which hadn’t been taken from precious guests. The grouting in the bathroom could be done and also the radiators are quite rusty. I did speak to owners about any welcome pack such as milk and tea bags. Tea bags and sugar are provided and they did say everyone has a preference for milk which was fine as a shop is close but maybe leaving some oil for cooking would be good too as most people wouldn’t want to buy one to use a few times. We would stay again

There is a supermarket only a few minutes' walk away. The cottage was generally clean and comfortable, though a few of the sofa cushions were a bit hard. The beds were warm and cosy. There are smart TVs in the lounge and bedroom. The only problem was they outsmarted our 72 year old brains! The cottage was compact, but had all we required. We have stayed there twice now, and would happily return.
