Wehad a really lovely stay at this cottage with my daughter and our senior dog. The place was spotless, cosy, and felt comfortable straight away. The views were amazing — the kind you can happily sit and look at — and the garden was really well kept, which made it easy for the dog to potter around safely while we relaxed. We were lucky with the weather because the days were full of sunshine, so we didn’t need the log burner, but it was nice knowing it was there. The solar panels were brilliant too and meant we had hot showers every morning without any issues. The kitchen was well equipped with an air fryer, microwave, and oven, which made cooking really easy. Inside, everything was simple and exactly as it should be. The bed was comfy, the place had a calm, relaxed feel, and the pool table was a great bonus for the evenings. The location is great for walkers, with loads of lovely routes nearby. In the village below there’s a really nice stream where children were playing, plus a couple of pubs and a shop, so you’ve got everything you need close by. The beach is only about a 15‑minute drive, and it’s around 30 minutes to Conwy and Llandudno, which made it easy to get out and explore.Mark, the host, is a lovely guy — close enough if you needed anything but never bothered you. He’s done a beautiful job restoring the cottage, and you can tell a lot of care has gone into it.Overall, it’s a lovely cottage with amazing views, a tidy garden, and thoughtful touches that made it perfect for both my daughter and my older dog. I’d definitely stay again.
