About this Holiday Cottage

A converted Welsh stone farm building dating back to around 1860. Now beautifully converted into a stunning 4 star holiday property surrounded by tranquil countryside near the old market town of Abergele, this wonderful property sleeps up to six people and is available all year round. The cottage is surrounded by forestry which is home to an abundance of wildlife making this the ideal spot for a relaxing break amongst some of the most picturesque countryside in North Wales.

Inside

Henblas Cottage comprises of a spacious lounge/kitchen/diner with facilities including a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine / dryer,  DVD and patio furniture. The property is fully centrally heated to ensure a comfortable stay, whatever the time of year.      

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

Three bedrooms including a ground floor double with spacious en-suite and a first floor double with secluded balcony. There is a further shower room with additional WC on the ground floor.  Bed guards, high chairs stair gates and a cot are available for our younger guests.   A grab rail can be placed in the shower cubicle if required. 

Outside

Lovely patio where you can dine al fresco and enjoy the views to the hills.

A Welcome basket awaits your arrival. There is a washing machine available on site.

Around and About

Henblas Holiday Cottage enjoys stunning views along the North Wales Coast towards Cheshire and over the hills to the village of Betws yn Rhos and the beautiful Denbigh Moors. This area offers a choice of ways in which you can enjoy your holiday with opportunities for walking, swimming, bike riding, horse riding, golf and dry slope skiing to be found nearby. Alternatively, why not explore some of the area's rich history and visit the 13th Century castle at Conwy or Bodelwyddan Castle, both of which lie within easy reach of the cottage. 

Availability

Short breaks and weekend breaks over the Christmas and New Year period may attract different rates. A £150.00 (non refundable) deposit is requested to secure your booking with the balance payable 6 weeks before your stay. We accept payment by cheque or  bacs. Details available when booking.

Directions

Directions to Henblas Holiday Cottages (a) Chester to Abergele Follow the A55 signposted North Wales and exit at Junction 24 signposted Abergele. At the bottom of the slip road keep left and continue through the town of Abergele until you reach a mini roundabout (Tesco). a this roundabout go straight ahead and continue until you see the castle entrance on the left. Turn left here into Ffordd Tanrallt (Tanrallt Road). Approximately 300 yds up this road bear to the right up passed Abergele Golf Club and continue on this road for 1 mile, turn right at the top and continue on for ½ a mile. Turn right into the private drive marked Henblas Farm and follow the drive up to the top. or (b) Conwy to Abergele Follow the A55 and exit at Junction 23 signposted Llanddulas and follow the road under the By-pass to the mini roundabout (Shell Garage). Take 2nd turning and continue pn the main road through the village of Llanddulas (B5443) towards Abergele. At the roundabout at Abergele Business Park continue straight ahead and approx. 400 yards on the right is the castle entrance. Turn right here into Ffordd Tanrallt (Tanrallt Road). Approximately 300 yds up this road bear to the right up passed Abergele Golf Club and continue on this road for 1 mile, turn right at the top and continue on for ½ a mile. Turn right into the private drive marked Henblas Farm and follow the drive up to the top.
