Guests say

Cwt Celyn offers a charming countryside escape with breathtaking views, a relaxing hot tub, and a peaceful atmosphere. Guests consistently praise the spotless accommodation, cosy interiors, and thoughtful touches from the hosts. The location is ideal for exploring local attractions and enjoying tranquil surroundings. While the small fridge and occasional maintenance points are noted, these do not detract from the overwhelmingly positive experience. The property is highly recommended for couples or friends seeking a restful break in beautiful Welsh scenery.

Cleanliness is frequently highlighted, with guests describing the property as spotless, perfectly clean, and well-maintained. Only rare minor issues, such as a dusty skylight or cobwebs, are mentioned, but these are exceptions rather than the norm.

The location receives near-universal praise for its stunning views, peaceful setting, and proximity to local attractions like Snowdonia and Aber Falls. Guests love the sense of seclusion and the beautiful countryside surroundings.

Guests find the accommodation cosy, warm, and comfortable, with special mentions of the comfy bed and effective underfloor heating. The peaceful atmosphere and relaxing hot tub further enhance comfort, though a few mention early morning light due to lack of curtains.

Facilities are well-received, especially the hot tub, decking, and BBQ. The kitchen is basic but functional, with a microwave, toaster, and kettle. The small fridge is noted as a limitation by several guests, and a few minor maintenance points (e.g., hot tub filter, outside lighting) are mentioned.

Many guests appreciate thoughtful touches such as welcome gifts (e.g., Welsh cakes, Buck’s Fizz, snacks), special decorations, and responsive hosts. Please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Wow what can we say, this place was just magical. We stayed here for our honeymoon and we had the best time ever. Everything was provided, the place was spotless and they had the hot tub all warmed up ready for when we arrived. We loved everything about this place. It was perfect if you just wanted to stay and relax but was also a great base for exploring. The view was stunning. We’d happily recommend to anyone and can’t wait to return.

If you are looking for an off grid experience but with a couple of luxuries thrown in then this is for you. The location is stunning but you are in the middle of nowhere so bear that in mind if you are a social creature. There is no wifi and no TV which is great to get away from the noise of normal life and we loved it. There is phone signal but if the sun is out and you're are not having a dip in the hot tub then you are missing out. The cabin is small bit very well maintained and the views are stunning, the toilet has the best view of any toilet anywhere. The view from the decking overlooking fields towards the mountains is only spoilt by a view overgrown trees, its just a minor grumble. We ate twice from the BBQ which has seen better days but works perfectly well. This is a true romantic countryside get away which I would recommend to anyone for a few days, a week might be stretching it a bit. Book this, you will not be disappointed.
