Guests consistently praise the cottage for its high standard of renovation, cosy and homely atmosphere, and prime location within Conwy's medieval walls. The property is celebrated for its cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches, including seasonal decorations and a welcome pack. While parking is noted as tight, the convenience of nearby amenities and public transport is a highlight. The roof terrace and proximity to local attractions add to the charm of this well-equipped and beautifully furnished cottage.
Reviewers frequently commend the cottage for its cleanliness, often describing it as spotless and well-maintained. The high standard of cleanliness contributes significantly to the overall positive experience.
The location is universally lauded for being in the heart of Conwy, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and historical sites. Its proximity to public transport and the scenic surroundings are also appreciated.
Comfort is a recurring theme, with guests finding the cottage cosy and the beds comfortable. The property is described as a home from home, though a few comments about limited hot water and a smell from next door slightly affect the score.
The cottage is praised for being well-equipped with quality furniture and appliances. However, a few minor issues such as the lack of a washing machine for longer stays and limited work surface space in the kitchen are noted.
Guests appreciate the thoughtful extras, such as bathrobes, a detailed information booklet, and a welcome pack. While gifts are mentioned and add to the positive experience, it is important to note that such amenities are subject to change and may not be guaranteed for every stay.
Situated in the Conwy walls, just a short drive away from the beach, is this charming mid-terrace home, 7 Watkin Street.
This two-bedroom holiday home is ideal for families and friends, with a wood-burning stove for those winter evenings, and a rear terrace for alfresco dining in the summer months.

The living/dining room has everything you need, including a smart TV, books and games for entertainment, a sofa, two armchairs, dining seating and wooden flooring for a welcoming feel. Moving through the property, the modern fitted kitchen offers an electric oven and hob for when you fancy cooking, and a dishwasher for a fuss-free clean afterwards. Enjoy mealtimes together at the dining table, or why not head up to the terrace to soak in the rays with a cold beverage? From here, you can gain access to the bright and airy double/twin bedroom and adjacent is a delightful double, with ample storage to house your belongings. In the morning, awaken tired eyes with a wash in the ground-floor shower room, which was newly refurbished in 2023, before savouring a frothy coffee, courtesy of the coffee machine.
Conwy, a unesco World History Site, is unquestionably famed for its historical and architectural heritage, yet the town's centre is a hive of activity. There are a variety of specialty stores, restaurants, and motels in addition to the ancient festivals and fairs, musical concerts, galleries, and historical sights. Conwy Castle, designed by Master James of St George and built for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287, is one of the most spectacular examples of mediaeval military architecture. The narrow rocky ledge on which the castle rests may have influenced its peculiar, elongated shape, with its two barbicans, eight huge towers, and a magnificent bow-shaped hall.
