Lovely little place in a beautiful and peaceful location. Situated on a farm down a long dirt track this place is isolated but only a short drive to local shops and pubs. Perfectly situated for exploring the Brecon Beacons and Swansea area. The accommodation was clean and tidy and had everything you needed. Very warm and cosy.

Y Stabl was the most idyllic stay we could have asked for. In a beautiful and peaceful location, often being visited by the local sheep peeking into our windows, the cottage is clean, comfortable, and truly felt like home. Emma was always quick to respond and help with any queries and an excellent host. I would say to be aware of the slight hills around the cottage - they are nothing drastic, and would be walkable for most, but something to keep in mind if visiting with older visitors or people with walking disabilities. Definitely worth checking out the surrounding countryside though! During our stay we visited Swansea (around an hour drive); climbed Pen Y Fan in the brecon beacons (again around an hour or so drive); and visited Cardiff (an hour drive once again). Id describe this place as a hidden gem, a true bargain for the price. We stayed for 4 nights and will absolutely be returning in 2026. Thank you for an incredible stay!
