Front patio with garden furniture and BBQ. Woodland grounds (shared with property UK41512). 2 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead in the grounds at all times (livestock). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a large wildlife pond in the grounds.. Parlwr Godro (which means milking parlour in Welsh), has been renovated to a high standard in 2022, and is perfect for a romantic break away or for those wanting to explore the beautiful surrounding areas that this property has to offer straight from the front door. Parlwr Godro consists of open plan living/dining room with a wood burner, a Smart TV and Wi-Fi. Patio doors lead to the outside which enjoys great views, and the kitchen is five steps up. This detached barn conversion offers a master bedroom with an emperor bed. A second bedroom with twin beds and A luxury family bathroom completes the picture. There is a stable door giving access to the enclosed rear garden. This detached barn conversion lies on the owners’ small holding and there is plenty to discover in terms of walks and wildlife here.
The property is about 3 miles from the town of Lampeter, which has an array of shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs to choose from. additionally, there are over 60 miles of glorious coastline in Cardigan Bay, and lots of beaches and coves in the pretty, coastal resort of New Quay. The colourful Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron can be easily reached about 10 miles away. You’re very likely to see dolphins in the bay and there are boat trips available to watch them and the other wildlife.
The Victorian seaside and university town of Aberystwyth is also within easy reach, where you’ll find a traditional pier, promenade, and the old electric cliff railway to the summit of Constitution Hill, from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the bay.
Enjoy a day out at the National Trust Dolaucothi Gold Mines at Pumpsaint, the Silver Mountain Experience (silver-lead mines) at Ponterwyd or the red kite feeding centre at Bwlch Nant Yr Arian, or why not take a trip on a traditional steam train from Aberystwyth to the falls at Devil’s Bridge?

Well what can we say? This was an absolutely superb holiday let. Ffion and family were warm, friendly, and couldn't do enough for you - they even lit up the Christmas tree. The cottage was exceptionally well appointed, the beds were super comfy, the kitchen is massive and has absolutely everythingyou need.. and don't get us started on the log burner!! They even left us extra logs and kindling. Just perfectly relaxing and utterly peaceful.

This is a lovely barn conversion. The photos are very accurate, albeit the garden/grass one looks somewhat different as it is clearly taken just after being cut and in the summer. It hasn't been cut and it wasn't summer when we were there! It is a dog friendly property and the bit all dog owners need to know.......yes it is secure. The wooden fencing is strong and has something akin to chicken wire so the smaller dog can't fit through. If your dog is a fence jumper then perhaps not secure enough. The barn has WiFi which is an absolute must as there was no mobile reception. The TV relied on the internet too. The bedrooms are spacious and have everything you need, including a hair dryer. The bathroom has a bath and separate shower which was big and very warm!!You aren't going to create a culinary masterpiece with the equipment in the kitchen but you will certainly be able to prepare/eat every meal more than adequately.Plenty of room to park the car. The barn is about half mile along a track from a decent size road.We thoroughly enjoyed this accommodation and would highly recommend.
