About this property

This delightsome, semi-detached bungalow of Meadow View is located on the Tyglyn Vale Meadow cottages development near Ciliau Aeron between the beautiful Aberaeron and Lampeter, Ceredigion. This retreat rests in a quiet part of the complex, with open fields to set the scene for family's peaceful holiday experience. Be welcomed by the open-plan living area, which comprises of comfortable seating and a woodburning stove to warm those cooler evenings. The oak dining table is perfect for some quality time together, and natural light sweeps in from the windows, inviting a sense of the outside in. A cream coloured kitchen features a selection of appliances; a homely base to prepare delicious meals throughout the day.

After a long day, settle down in the bedroom of your choice, the first looks out over the front of the property, with overhead storage resting above the double bed. In contrast, the twin faces the rear of the cottage, and is divided by a bedside table, with storage adjacent. A quirky bathroom finishes the interior, nicely decorated with seaside accessories. Once you have appreciated everything the accommodation has to offer, the south-facing garden is a refreshing place to enjoy the sunshine, and timber decked areas lie to the front and side of the cottage. Ciliau Aeron's centre isn't far and offers a handful amenities whilst also offering opportunities to walk along the winding River Aeron via the Llanerchaeron Riverside Trail and settle down for a picnic in the Ty Glyn Davis Trust Garden.

With a pebble beach and beautiful sea views, Aberaeron is perfectly positioned to enjoy boat trips and water sports, or coastal and countryside walks. Why not spend some time inland at Lampeter, a town offering access to the fascinating Welsh Quilt Centre and the Lampeter Museum, where the history buffs of the group will certainly be entertained. Short drives to Cardigan to the south, or Aberystwyth to the north provide more shops, craft centres, museums, cinema or theatre visits. A promising mid Wales location all-year-round.

Nestled on the weaving River Aeron is the welcoming village of Ciliau Aeron. Offering guests a handful of amenities, including an organic farm shop, the village is also home to the stunning Ty Glyn Davis Trust Garden and rests within easy reach of the National Trust property of Llanerchaeron with its adjacent Riverside Trail. The village also isn't far from the delights of Aberaeron and Aberystwyth, where plenty of attractions can be found.

The cottage is situated in a very quiet, rural park but is only four miles from Aberaeron. We found the accommodation clean, comfortable and well equipped, including the outside space. We spent ages watching the wildlife, including red kites, pheasants and squirrels. We would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful quiet location, overlooking a field & trees with lots of birds, red kites, squirrels & rabbits, a short walk to the Secret garden ( turn right out of main gate, 5 mins) central to larger towns for days out exploring, had a lovely, relaxing time, will definitely be booking again & highly recommend, especially as undergoing refurbishment so will be fabulous
