Guests say

Bwlchsais is a spacious and well-equipped property in a peaceful, rural setting, ideal for families and groups seeking tranquility and a base to explore Pembrokeshire. Guests have enjoyed the privacy, the views, and the local wildlife. The property's AGA cooker and hot tub are popular features, and the night sky offers a spectacular stargazing experience.

Reviews indicate that while the property is generally clean, there are some concerns about dust, cobwebs, and maintenance of cleanliness in certain areas. Some guests noted a need for deeper cleaning and attention to details.

The property's location is highly praised for its seclusion, quietness, and proximity to local attractions and beaches. It offers a rural charm and opportunities to see wildlife, making it a strong point for the property.

Guests find the beds clean and comfortable, and the property spacious. However, there are mixed experiences with the heating system and underfloor heating, which affects the overall comfort during colder periods.

The property is well-equipped with an AGA, hot tub, and ample space. However, there are reports of maintenance issues such as a broken AGA, hot tub problems, and general repairs needed, which impacts the score.

Guests have appreciated the thoughtful touches like a welcome pack and festive decorations during Christmas. However, some noted a lack of consistency with these extras, and it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.

Thank you so much for our stay here, we had the best time! It was a very private location and perfect for families enjoying a getaway in the countryside. There was a slight issue with the hot tub which was rectified very quickly and we made use of it, it was lovely! The rooms are spacious and well decorated…. We loved the separate little snug with the sofa for some quiet time if it was needed. We even spotted a barn owl and some bats. Gareth was lovely and helpful and we hope to come back again soon!

The location was beautiful, and it’s a gorgeous large house. However we felt there were issues that we weren’t being picky about. To start with on our first night we went to turn the tv on and it just wouldn’t, changed the batteries in the remote and it wasn’t that. Turns out nearly every time we used it we’d have to manually reset it to get it to work, by the end of the holiday only half of the tv picture worked so it’s definitely on its way out. When having our first meal, we pulled out the chairs and there were still bits of the previous guests dinner underneath the table. The bins had left over ice lolly packets from previous guests also. The one airer only had 3 legs meaning it wouldn’t stand up, and the floors were so filthy our socks were black and I had to go out of my way to buy floor wipes and clean them myself. It’s not the kind of thing you want to be dealing with when you go on holiday with the purpose to relax. The hot tub bar broke in the wind and Gareth came out fast and efficiently to fix it, and did a great job. I think that the change over between each guest is so fast that there is a lack of care to clean in properly.

I've stayed at this property on two occasions with family and have been blown away by the quality and comfort the place. It's a spacious and calm space to unwind, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Its location is also perfect as a base to explore the local area. Gareth, who manages the property has also been friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here!
