This large detached cottage has been lovingly converted a very good standard providing guests with an unforgettable holiday experience in beautiful Carmarthenshire. Conveniently located close to the spectacular Millennium Coastal Path, guests can explore the scenic Pembrey Country Park with eight miles of golden sands at Cefn Sidan, Pembrey must be the only place in Europe where visitors can sunbathe, swim and hunt for shipwrecks on the beaches, then experience the thrill of a toboggan run or race down the parks 130m dry ski slope. Enjoy a round of golf at the famous Jack Nicklaus course, Llanelli, or the Ashburnam links course, Pembrey. Watch live sport at the Llanelli Scarlet’s Rugby Stadium and nearby Ffos Las Racecourse. Or just wind down and relax in the 7 seat hot tub. We had a wonderful weekend stay at Ysgubor Wen with our family of 6 adults and 2 children. A lovely house with the added bonus of a games room, hot tub, lovely garden area and free WiFi. The house was very spacious, clean and comfortable and Lee the owner was very helpful and accommodating.We visited nearby Pembury Country Park and did the taboggan run and walked down to the beach (despite the wet and windy weather!). There also happened to be Dinoland on when we visited which my grandchildren loved!There's a great fish and chip shop in Burry Port called Laurian's and we had a fantastic roast lunch at The Pemberton Arms which was only a 5 minute walk from the house.Margam Country Park at Port Talbot is also well worth a visit. You have to pay for the car park but then it's free to enter.We will definitely be returning to Ysgubor Wen in the future and have already recommended to friends.

8 of us just spent 3 nights. We have a fantastic time. The property is well layed out for groups. Large lounge and dining room for meals together. Jacuzzi is warm and under cover so could use in wind and rain. Games room fun. Rooms were all comfortable and easy access to multiple shared bathrooms. Large garden. Would definately recommend.
