The interior of this semi-detached cottage is filled with shabby chic and vintage furnishings, creating a retro base for you and your loved ones to call home as you explore this coastal part of Wales. Step into the quirky kitchen, where the striking yellow walls play backdrop to the range of quality appliances, including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Settle down at the dining table to delight in your home-cooked dish with your loved ones before you plan the next day’s adventure.

Afterwards, relish in some down time within the spacious sitting room, where a sumptuous sofa and armchairs are awaiting to be sunk into, and enjoy a family-favourite film on the TV before you retire to bed. The sleek family shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC, concludes the interior of the property.

To the outside, table and chairs offer a spot for alfresco dining whilst soaking up the sunshine and an area for any younger guests of the group to enjoy fun-filled hours playing. If you do not feel like cooking, take a stroll into the centre of Burry Port, where you will find a range of takeaways and pubs, accompanied by a number of shops for picking up any essentials. Venture to the bustling marina, where you will find beaches on either side, boasting glorious sands to laze upon and a cycle path so that you can explore the coastline all the way to Pembrey.

Visit the well-loved local landmark that sits on the outer harbour, the Burry Port Lighthouse to admire the views across to the Gower before you ramble the nearby paths or enjoy sea-fishing trips. 3.5 miles away is one of Wales’s top visitor attractions, Pembrey Country Park, which is 500 acres of woodland and alongside eight miles of golden sands, as well as a range of exciting activities including a dry ski slope, a toboggan ride, crazy golf, train rides, adventure play area and a variety of nature trail. Travel slightly further afield to the bustling town of Llanelli, home to a larger selection of amenities, as well as the Llanelli Wetland Centre and Machynys Peninsula Golf and Country Club.

Alternatively, travel to the city of Swansea with its glorious beach on the picturesque bay, which travels all the way The Mumbles village, promising a wonderful day out with the family. Ty Foxton is a wonderful escape to this part of South Wales for you and your loved ones.

Burry Port is a small town, resting on the South West Wales coastline, just four miles away from Llanelli and 16 miles away from Carmarthen. Within the town, you will find a selection of shops, a Post Office, several pubs and restaurants, as well as a renowned golf club and a sandy beach.
