A lovely three bedroom barn conversion set in the beautiful Brecon Beacons with stunning walks to be enjoyed nearby, including a circular route around Llyn y Fan Fach lake, quite possibly Wales best kept secret. With wildlife in abundance, you ll find majestic red kites, amongst many others, soaring in the skies above you. History lovers can also enjoy the dramatic Carreg Cennen Castle (5 miles) or travel further afield to the Dolaucothi Gold Mines (16 miles) and the National Showcaves Centre for Wales (26 miles). There is plenty to see and do with pretty villages and towns nearby such as Llandeilo, nestled within the Twyi Valley, perfect for trout fishing at the Llandovery Angling Association with some of the loveliest countryside in Wales. Visit Aberglasney (7 miles) and the National Botanic Garden of Wales (11 miles) with glorious gardens, majestic stately homes and offering independent shops, galleries and eateries. If you are avid golf fan, then head to The Glynhir Golf Club, less than a 20 minute drive to enjoy a round before heading to the clubhouse for a bite to eat. If you are looking to enjoy a day at the beach, why not head for Burry Port (24 miles) with its bustling harbour with its the newly built lifeboat station, sandy beach, and lighthouse. Follow the Millennium Coastal Path by foot or cycle to Llanelli and the Sandy Water Park and head to Pembrey Country Park. (Please check admittance for the various attractions). Enter the property through the front door into the spacious open plan kitchen/diner with beautiful slate floor throughout, with a centre island to sit and enjoy a morning coffee and catch up on the latest news. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need to cook up a storm, including a mid level electric oven and induction hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer. The dining area with table and chairs will comfortably seat eight people. To the other side of the kitchen/diner is the lounge with comfortable sofas surrounding the TV, open the doors and take a step up on to an enclosed slate floor patio. Carry on through the hallway from the kitchen/diner where you ll find a separate WC. Completing the ground floor is the bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. Off the hall are two bedrooms, one king size and one double with a TV and wardrobe in each, each have a door that opens to the outside. An open staircase leads up from the kitchen/diner to a mezzanine level snug area, where you can relax on the sofa and watch the TV or play some of the selection of board games. Off from the mezzanine area on the first floor is the spacious master king size bedroom with sloped ceilings and beautiful oak beams (please note there is restricted head height in this room due to exposed beams). Heading outside you will find the enclosed garden with patio area and charcoal BBQ which is accessed via the balcony from the lounge, which has seating to sit out and enjoy some al fresco dining whilst taking in the glorious views. You will be able to enjoy a spot of stargazing and on a clear night with minimal light pollution this is the perfect place for admiring the stars. There is also an outbuilding which is perfect for push bikes. There is private parking for three cars. Please find below the property linked to Tywi Barn, this can be booked together with Teilo Barn as a large group which sleeps 14, if booked together for the same dates and duration only. Need to know: 3 Bedrooms 2 king size and 1 double. 1 Bathroom and 1 separate WC. Electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Wi Fi included (limited to usage unable to stream films due to rural location). 1 high chair is provided. Smart TV in lounge, in the snug and the ground floor bedrooms. Charcoal BBQ available. Night Sky light pollution is minimal. Regret no fireworks to be used at anytime. Sorry no travel cots provided at this time (please bring your own). Lockable bike storage available. Complex of properties. Parking for 3 cars. Please note the property is accessed via a single track road and may not be suitable for all car types.
