A public footpath through the fields will take you to Cwmdu village (guests are advised to bring waterproof footwear). Excellent for walkers and cyclists, with a short drive to local trails and bicycle storage available. Nearby Taliaris Park Walk and lake which are idyllic, there is an eclectic mix of shops and eateries to be enjoyed at nearby Llandeilo. For history lovers there is a well preserved Iron Age hill fort at Maes y Castell. Aberglasney Gardens and the National Botanic Garden of Wales a 15 mile drive away are well worth a visit. Further afield is Ceredigon Bay with beaches to explore including that of Aberporth. Travel due South and visit the beautiful sands at Burry Port with its lighthouse and harbour. (Please check admittance for the various attractions). Enter this charming converted dairy into a surprisingly large lounge/diner, there is comfortable seating with a sofa and a chair set around the lovely wood burner.
