The property is surrounded by picturesque woodland and scenery with lots of nice walks on your doorstep, making it the perfect place to unwind from day to day life and reconnect with each other. Friendly farm animals including the horses in the stables at the front of the property and the chickens that roam free will give an extra special element to your holiday. The cottage has direct access to Brechfa Forest which provides stunning circular routes for walkers, cyclists, and horse riders and also includes specially designed mountain bike trails. The town of Carmarthen (10 miles) is abundant with Welsh history and heritage, whilst offering you the facilities of a public leisure centre with a swimming pool, as well as many restaurants and delis. Visit Llansteffan Castle and Ferryside for miles of sandy beaches, the National Botanic Garden of Wales or explore the 12th century castle, nature reserve and museum in Kidwelly and the Carreg Cennen Castle, all less than 20 miles away. Enter this cottage through the porch/boot room into the spacious kitchen and on your left, you ll find a large cupboard for storing your walking boots, wellies and coats. The well equipped kitchen with a dual fuel range cooker with eight burners and three ovens, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and microwave means you ll have everything you need to whip up a good meal which can be enjoyed at the dining table in the open lounge/diner or outside on the patio. The spacious living area with comfortable chairs and a wood burner brings that country cottage feel. Why not enjoy this great space playing a family board game or just relax with a glass of wine and watch your favourite programme or film on Sky TV? Upstairs you will find both the bedrooms. The first is a double bedroom with a TV, followed by a twin bedroom with storage and a family bathroom with a shower over a bath. To the rear of the property, you have a large private garden with a patio area, garden furniture, and a charcoal BBQ. There is parking for two vehicles at the front of the property.
