The village of Moelfre makes a wonderful holiday base, with the essentials of a local store and a selection of pubs to while away the hours in, all your culinary needs are served, as well as the village boasting the wonder of the Oriel Moelfre, a wonderful art gallery where you can explore the work of talented locals. Within easy reach of the cottage you will find some of the Isle of Anglesey's historical landmarks including the Capel Lligwy, Din Lligwy and Lligwy Burial Chamber, just few of many delights awaiting to be discovered, or for a relaxing day with your loved ones, visit the Seawatch Centre and dive back into the area's maritime history, with chances to spot marine life here too! A scenic drive will bring you to Holy Island, boasting even more historical wonder, this tidal island also provides access to Ireland with regular ferry trips from Holyhead, letting you experience traditional Ireland for a day.
