Along with the Kinmel Arms pub and Coastal Café takeaway, recommended to visit for a bite to eat, the village itself also has a convenience shop where you can fill up on necessities. Before continuing to discover the wonders of Anglesey, such as Pili Palas Nature World and Plas Newydd House and Gardens, head to Beaumaris for further attractions; here, you may tour the town's majestic castle or wander along its bustling pier. Once on the mainland, there are more sights to see, including strolls around the picturesque grounds of Penrhyn Castle & Garden or the chance to trek up some of the Snowdonia’s peaks, including Tryfan, Carnedd Llewelyn, and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). Gather your nearest and dearest at Bodwena.

Moelfre, a charming seaside community with little cottages, a scenic port, a beach, lovely views of Snowdonia, a functioning lifeboat, and two excellent pubs/restaurants, is located on the lovely east coast of Anglesey. Discover magnificent cliff-top treks with breath-taking mountain views, enjoy fishing or observing sea birds, seals, or even dolphins, or visit the wildly popular local Seawatch Centre. The sad Royal Charter shipwreck in 1859 was the most recent of the village's many historical connections. Benllech, Lligwy, and the picturesque Red Wharf Bay, with its miles of open dunes and birds, are beautiful sandy beaches that are close by. A great starting point for exploring this wonderful island and stunning Snowdonia.

!!!!! We absolutely LOVED this cottage, it’s very special. Fabulous location to explore the island. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we stepped through the door, the heating was on and the lamps made it feel very cosy. We would love to return asap. Our dog was very well catered for too, all the little touches were very kind. The owners left some sweets and Halloween decorations for our children which we found very kind and thoughtful. 10 out of 10 No negatives!

A modern clean light property with a lovely garden. Our spaniel loved it ! There were great walks on our doorstep and beautiful places to visit within close reach. We are aware this was Bodwenas first season and have some suggestions. Maybe a cupboard or more shelving in the bathroom. The little glass shelf is not enough for 6 peoples toiletries. More hanging space in the 2nd two bedrooms. Possibbly some pizza trays and pasta bowls in the kitchen. Aside from those little niggles it was fabulous and we would revisit.
