This charming town is conveniently located on the southwestern tip of Anglesey, where one of the two bridges to the Welsh mainland may be found. It's a wonderful place to stay while visiting this stunning island. Church Island, located off the coast of Anglesey, was home to the famous Saint Tysilio in the 7th century; he was the inspiration for the 15th-century church bearing his name. There is a wide variety of retail establishments, watering holes, and dining options in the Menai Bridge area. The Pili Palas Butterfly Palace is a huge hit with families, and the stunning Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens are well worth a visit if you're looking for something to do in your free time. The property is in the middle of a building site as next door is having an extention. The owner left an undated notice to him from the Contractors warning of such works from 22/,8 which should have been advised to us. Rear yard is a death trap , constructed at 45 degrees of uneven 1 to 2 feet high crumbling steps & grossly overgrown making it unusable. Railing on main stairway loose & dangerous. Local Authority notified. Lots of lighting not working , lightshades missing , kitchen very basic eg no cooking utensils ( not even a spatular ! ) nor drinking vessels ie cups nor mugs & no microwave. Photographs are available as proof. We have many other issues eg rubbish disposal , inadequate fridge/freezer etc …... We did email you within an hour of our arrival with some concerns but yet to receive a response. We want your response & an explanation why you rent out such an unsuitable property to the public.
