Quietly tucked away in the heart of Anglesey, this spacious, detached holiday cottage is ideally located for holidays whatever the season and also has its own hot tub. Although the location is charmingly rural, there are a fine selection of visitor attractions available nearby including the medieval Beaumaris Castle, National Trust Plas Newydd House and Gardens and South Stack Lighthouse. Within easy reach are also a wonderful selection of sandy beaches and fabulous walking opportunities, the island is a paradise for walkers and bird watchers alike. Day trips to Ireland from the bustling port of Holyhead, a myriad of outdoor pursuits and breathtaking scenery in the Snowdonia National Park are also within easy reach. Golf, horse riding, lake fishing and sailing are all available nearby. Beach 10 miles. Shop and pub 2 miles, restaurant 6 miles.

A perfect cottage for a family holiday. We had a great week, the house was perfect, with loads of inside and outside space and the hot tub was a great addition too. The location is spot on it’s a short drive to everywhere we wanted to go on the island. The house was well set up for dogs too with a fully enclosed garden so our Labrador was fine outside on her own. Not a single complaint…. We will definitely stay again!

I will start with the positives as there are less of them then the negatives.Location of the cottage is perfect, peaceful and quiet, with beautiful views.That’s where the positives end. The whole cottage needs an update.The photos where obviously taken when it was first refurbished and have not been taken since. Everything is dated and in need of repair. The sofa is broken in two places, making it uncomfortable. One of the single beds is broken to the point where we had to place the mattress on the floor to sleep on it. Outdoor furniture battered and broken. Rust on most things, like all the stools in the kitchen and the toilet holder, and a lot of dust and cobwebs. You can tell dogs are allowed as the whole place stunk of dog. A lot of really disgusting areas which need to be painted over.Small things that wouldn’t cost a lot of money to make the place amazing. The toilet seat was broken when we arrived and we advised the lady who owns it and was advised it would be difficult to get a plumber, made to feel like an inconvenience. Never heard anything more and went 7 days with a broken toilet seat. To top it off we decided to put everything into the dishwasher the day we were leaving and found the previous occupants’ dirty dishes still in there. Simple checks which should have been made which sadly wasn’t.Not worth the high price we paid for it and wouldn’t recommend until the updates and improvements are made.
