Snaptrip says

No 1 The Granary is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its cleanliness, peaceful surroundings, and friendly owners. Guests appreciate the dog-friendly amenities and the property's central location for exploring Anglesey. The cosy garden and comfortable beds are highlights, though some guests suggest improvements in seating and kitchen equipment.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found the property very clean, with only a minor mention of cobwebs. The consistent remarks on cleanliness suggest a high standard is typically maintained.

The central location is appreciated for exploring the island, and the peaceful surroundings are noted positively. However, the lack of nearby public footpaths for dog walking was a concern for one guest.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the property generally welcoming. Some concerns were raised about the steep staircase and limited lounge seating, which affected the comfort level for some visitors.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially for dogs, but there are several mentions of inadequate kitchen equipment and issues with WiFi connectivity. The powerful shower and secure property entrance are positives.

While some guests were delighted by welcome gifts, others did not receive any, and there is no consistent mention of such gestures being standard. Therefore, it's polite to note that while welcome gifts can be a charming surprise, they are not guaranteed.

Located on the Isle of Anglesey, the Welsh community of Llannerch-y-Medd is a great place to immerse yourself in the culture of Wales. With more than 60% of the locals speaking Welsh, there's no better time to learn a new language and put your skills to the test. Just be thankful you're not in the area of Llanfairpwllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysilio googoch. Because of the abandoned Anglesey Central Railway that runs through the village, it's a great destination for train enthusiasts. The old remaining buildings also house a cafe and tea rooms, making it an ideal location from which to enjoy the stunning scenery of Wales. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat close to some of Wales' best attractions, consider staying in the area. The LLyn Alaw reservoir is a must-visit for serious birdwatchers. Anglesey Sea Zoo, with over 150 species, and Pili Palas Nature World, where children can get up close and personal with the animals, are just 8 miles away in the heart of Anglesey. While in Anglesy and the surrounding areas of Wales, be sure to visit the National Trust castle of Penrhyn, the Presaddfed Burial Chamber, and the picturesque mountain of Snowdonia, among many others.

Llannerch-y-Medd and the surrounding areas offer something for everyone, whether you're looking for a quiet getaway among friendly locals or exciting routes to nearby tourist attractions.

Endless hot water, underfloor heating was a lovely touch. Beds so comfy and the sofas! The weather was not great so spent a lot of time just chilling around the cottage, felt very at home. Owners there if you need them but not in your face. Great instructions. Perfect location. Very peaceful.

The Granary cottage is a good central location on the island - it is spacious & the log burner was a delight with October weather & easy to use, the bed very comfortable. The garden/patio was a great size for our 3 cocker spaniels.
