About this property

Newborough 1.5 miles. Set in the quiet rural village of Dwyran and county of Anglesey is this self-contained, single-storey annex, Arianeth. Accommodating for five guests, a family-friendly getaway can be arranged in North Wales by selecting Arianeth as your base. Reaching the front of the property, park up on the private driveway and take in the surrounding sights of the charming village, ready to head inside and unpack. Met by the spacious sitting room, take a seat in front of the electric fire, scroll for your favourite movie on the Smart TV, or make the most of the available games, calling for a family night in. As the evening unwinds, gather in the open-plan kitchen/diner, where you will find all the necessities to fulfil your culinary needs. With plenty of outdoor space, relocate to the garden for a relaxing sunset or set your intentions for an early morning visit with a coffee in tow. Ideal for those with limited mobility, ground-floor bedrooms are on offer, arranged to rest, rejuvenate, and feel truly at home; select between a double, and a family room, both beside the family wet room. If you instead look forward to a family night out, there are a range of restaurants, pubs, and takeaways to select from, including the favoured Newborough tavern, The White Lion. With plenty of 'to-dos' in the local area, head to the Anglesey Transport Museum and discover a range of vintage cars and farming vehicles, trek towards Twr Bach Lighthouse, or follow the family-friendly trails of Gypsy Wood Park. For thrill-seekers, climb up to the summit of Snowdon, take in the panoramic views of Llandudno on the Summit Cable Car Station, or fly down Zip World Penrhyn Quarry and observe the area from a height, at 500-feet up. If you prefer to keep both feet on the ground, Conwy Castle, Llandudno Promenade and Aber Falls all offer memorable viewpoints of the county and its heritage. Enjoy an escape to North Wales by stopping over at Arianeth.

Newborough (Welsh spelling: Niwbwrch) is a small village in Anglesey's southwest corner, nestled between forests and dunes. Llanddwyn Bay, close by, is regarded as one of Britain's finest beaches, great for swimming, canoeing, beachcombing, birdwatching, or simply resting! The 1500-acre sand dune system of Newborough Warren, which is protected as a National Nature Reserve, is home to skylarks, meadow pipits, and oyster catchers, as well as toads and lizards. Anglesey Sea Zoo, Foel Farm, and the Anglesey Sea Salt are all within 3 miles of the village centre and make for a pleasant day out for the whole family.

. extremely large interior with a good size on the inside. Plenty of cupboard space in the bedrooms. Big enough kitchen with washing machine and dryer if needed (maybe the cleaners could give both machines a clean once in a while). Bathroom a walk in wet room, clean on arrival and everything worked as should. We used the property as a base to mooch around anglesey and north Wales so it did its job. Any downside on the property? If we took kids there I'd of expected the grass in the large garden to be mowed to give them the garden to play in. Front bedroom smelt a bit damp (but not off putting) so all in all just minor details. Thanks for the week in anglesey.
