About this property

Nestled on the coastline of Anglesey and in the charming village of Benllech is this three-bedroom, single-storey bungalow, Daisy Cottage. Well-positioned near the county’s hotspots and within walking distance to the shoreline of North Wales, Daisy Cottage is an ideal abode for a group getaway or a couple’s coastal escape, sleeping up to seven guests. A sought-after private driveway will welcome you to the property, along with additional roadside parking, easing your transition through the front suntrap, towards the main entrance. Make your way to the open-plan living space, light the woodburning stove, rest in front of the Smart TV, gaze at the seaside views, or begin to prepare some evening nibbles, ready for dusk. Boasting a contemporary outdoor space, enjoy the elevated patio area with furniture in tow, laze along the artificial lawn, or climb up to the deluxe hot tub for a dreamy sundown. After an adventure-filled day, retreat to the ground-floor bedrooms including a king-size with rolling views and a private en-suite shower room, another king-size and a triple-bunk room, both with Smart TVs and access to the main bathroom. Benllech houses a long sandy beach, just a stone's throw away from the cottage, perfect for a stroll, picnic or relax, along with bustling pubs, restaurants, and cafes, all notable dine-out options. Venturing beyond the village, visit the picturesque Caste of Beaumaris, stroll around the grand Victorian grounds of Penrhyn Castle & Garden, or set up for a sunny day at Traeth Bychan. Local attractions also include Caernarfon Castle, Anglesey Sea Zoo and its unique aquarium of wildlife, and the stunning trails surrounding Goleudy Tŵr Mawr. To embrace the landscapes of North Wales, explore Aber Falls waterfall, follow the paths of Nant Y Pandy, or enjoy the 18 hectares of botanical beauty at Treborth Botanic Garden. Placed between the countryside and the coast, choose Daisy Cottage as your Anglesey dwelling.

Benllech features a lovely, long, sandy beach that is popular with families, with a slipway for convenient access. A picnic area and a variety of stores and cafés along the beach, while the village centre has more shops, pubs, hotels, and restaurants. The hamlet itself is perfect for family holidays, while the rural location gives serenity and easy access to the coast, rural Anglesey, and, of course, the beautiful Snowdonia mountains.

The hot tub was great, as was the log burner, comfy beds and loads of space. Benllech is a very relaxing place to stay with a fantastic beach that seems very safe, and when we visit again we will be heading back to Daisy Cottage if it’s available.

Lovely location, quiet, with plenty around!

Just 2 small problems: We couldnt reach the light pull in the ensuite, ended up tieing a cloth belt to it so it could be used. Also, we had to struggle to get in and out of hot tub. We are under 5ft 2", so maybe give a thought to those petite people.
