Maybe a little cold in the winter. I was very conscious of turning the heating up too high, and the fire didn't throw out much heat. I would seriously recommend a log or multifuel stove. These are great in stone cottages, very efficient and I speak from experience. Everything else was perfect.

The cottage had everything we could possibly need and was in a great location, not far from both beaches and eateries. Chris met us and explained how all the systems in the cottage worked and left us a lovely welcome gift of a bottle of bubbly! The dogs also enjoyed the complimentary dog biscuits and the lovely safe encolsed garden.

Fantastic location, everything you need and more inside and outside of the cottage. Owners very helpful but not intrusive. Lovely welcome gift. We even had decent weather for late October/November. Didn’t do much sightseeing as one dog is very travel sick but who needs to, great walks from the doorstep, both dogs 1 year old and 6months loved the beach and sand dunes. Lovely meals at The Oyster Catcher and great takeaway from the local Indian restaurant. Will definitely be back to this lovely cottage.
