About this property

Moelfre 2.3 miles. Tucked away in the village of Dulas just a stone's throw away from the sandy shores of Lligwy Beach, Bryn Hyfryd Caravan is a fabulous holiday lodge offering the ultimate base from which a small family or group of four can explore the specular Isle of Anglesey. Return from a fun-filled adventure down by the coast to this homely abode, leaving your sand-filled shoes by the front door before stepping inside the light and airy open-plan living space. Rest and recuperate on the plush corner sofa with pretty floral fabric, warming your feet from the heat of the electric fire whilst watching an entertaining movie on the impressive flat-screen TV. Cross on over to the quaint yet well-equipped kitchen and prepare a hearty home-cooked meal with the help of the gas oven and hob, before taking a seat at the attractive oak dining table and delighting in your delicious creations with loved ones over a crisp glass of wine. From here, two beautiful bedrooms await you; a spacious double boasting an en-suite cloakroom, and a restful twin complete with fresh white linens. Both bedrooms are serviced by a contemporary shower room, perfect for a brisk morning rinse before setting about your day. When the sun is shining and the weather is warm, be sure to take the stone steps down to the well-manicured lawn garden and enjoy a peaceful afternoon basking in the sunshine whilst admiring the awe-inspiring views across the sea. Take a stroll to the vast sands of Lligwy Beach, making your way towards Porth y Môr, or spend the day in the neighbouring village of Moelfre to see the 12th century remains of Hen Capel Lligwy, The Lligwy Cromlech and the Gwylfan Moelfre Seawatch. Delight in an ice cream as you wander to Old Fisherman's Cottage and spot Ynys Moelfre in the distance, or hop in the car and head for Beaumaris to see the medieval fortress of Beaumaris Castle, the Victorian prison of Beaumaris Gaol and the thriving Beaumaris Pier. Head out to sea to see Puffin Island with Seacoast Safaris, or continue along the Menai Strait to Menai Bridge, where you can enjoy an afternoon of seal spotting or spend the day at Pili Palas Nature World. Over on the mainland, GreenWood Family Park and Piggery Pottery are a real hit with those travelling with children, whilst outdoor enthusiasts should be sure to explore Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park with Yr Hen Weithdy, Carnedd Llewelyn and Aber Falls awaiting your arrival. See the National Trust owned Penrhyn Castle, or travel to Caernarfon to see the historical town walls, Caernarfon station and World Heritage Fortress of Caernarfon Castle. Live many happy memories with your loved ones on an escape to Bryn Hyfryd Caravan.

Nestled on the breath-taking shores of the east coast of Anglesey, Moelfre is a picturesque village offering the ultimate backdrop for any seaside escape. Home to a bustling port, sugary beach, a handy convenience store, and two charming pubs that spill out onto the streets, this town has everything you could possibly need for a self-catering stay. Beaumaris, Benllech and Cemaes rest within reaching distance, whilst further afield Caernarfon and Holy Island are well-worth a visit.

Our long weekend was very comfortable in a perfect location for exploring both by car and foot. We timed our trip perfectly to coincide with a supply of apples from the garden - delicious!

Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful location and great for walking cycling and the beach.

A car is necessary to be able to see all the area. Would recommend this accommodation.
