Guests say

The Forge in Holyhead, Anglesey, is a well-received cottage praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches like a welcome package. Guests appreciate the quality of the facilities, including a hot tub, and the property's suitability for dog walking. The location is ideal for exploring the island. While check-in and check-out times have been noted as inconvenient by one guest, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with recommendations likely.

Guests consistently noted the cottage's spotless condition and high-quality cleanliness, which suggests a very high standard maintained by the owners.

While guests mention the property's great location for exploring Anglesey, there are not enough specific details to accurately score the location.

The Forge is frequently described as comfortable and well-appointed, with guests expressing satisfaction with the bedrooms, lounge, and overall ambience.

Facilities like the hot tub and dog walking paddocks are highlighted positively. A minor TV issue was resolved, indicating good maintenance, but the lack of a mirror in one bedroom suggests room for improvement.

The owners' thoughtfulness is evident in the welcome packages and treats provided, although it should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The location is excellent for all parts of the Island, and the hot-tub a real bonus after a hard day's holidaying! mark L. (Merseyside).

The forge is a little gem, the decor is very stylish . The back patio is a sun trap and it’s very nice to have the hot tub to relax in . One thing that I would say is could you put a mirror on the wall in the back bedroom? We would hope to return at some point in the future .

Our check-in time was changed to 5 pm, which we were disappointed with as we had some logistics to take care of at the cottage before we could buy groceries. All in all, it meant that we ate dinner at about 9pm and felt that we missed out on our first afternoon/evening in the cottage. Similarly, a check out time of 10am is quite early and caused a morning rush to get up and packed, and then do the necessary stripping of beds and gathering of towels as required.
